RE: Lets start a positive topic!

Yep we are still planning on doing some traveling in our RV. Heck I'm only 74 so I've got a long time to use the RV. Now If I could just remember what we were talking about :)

RE: Any vegetarian RV'ers?

Well I don't eat any red meat, but I do eat fish. I also eat lots of veggies. And now that I don't eat red meat any longer, I feel great!!!

RE: Need New Camera

I have a Nikon D 3100 and I really like it a lot. It takes great pictures and is easy to use.

RE: Missing solar panel

If you don't leave the RV plugged in when not in use, you may want to replace it. I don't know what a dealer wants for a replacement, but some auto part dealers have a replacement system for around $25. You could mount the solar panel on the AC cover, and splice into the original wiring.
Good luckThanks, I have the motorhome plugged in, but I am going to replace it.

RE: Missing solar panel

Joe, are you talking about the 5 watt panel that maintains the chassis battery, or a real, after market solar panel that charges the house batteries? If it was the chassis panel, the funky wire mount probably failed due to corrosion.
Wildman
It was the 5 watt panel.
We took the grandkids down to Florida and When we got back home was when I noticed that it was gone.

Missing solar panel

Yep, the solar panel is gone. I don't remember anything hitting the roof. We were in one very heavy rainstorm with a lot of wind. My only guess is that the wind blew it off.
