RE: Fridge & Propane ON while driving?
Leaving the propane on while driving is dangerous. If you were to be involved in a collision it could spell disaster. Stuff in the fridge and freezer will stay frozen for 8 or 9 hours easily if you leave them closed and do not open and close during that time.

I like what papappy said. You have to count what meals will cost, what extra rooms will cost as you can't sleep a family of 5 in the same room in most hotels, the risk of bugs and bringing them home with you, etc. If you add up "all" the costs invloved it is cheaper (for now anyway) to RV. Besides getting out and being one with nature is a a a feeling you can't get by being in a motel/hotel.

Talk with a mechanic about leaving a diesel sitting around doing nothing most of the time and they will tell you, you will have no end of problems. Diesels are meant to be worked and the harder you work them the better they like it. I would stick with a gasser if I was you but that is my own opinion. Good luck

Update for my 2008 F-350 is $325.00 at the dealer. I'll pass thanks and use the GPS on my I-Phone. Much more accurate anyways.

Gasoline 87% octane is now $121.9 per litre

Hi there. I use the culligan brand hose filter. They do reduce water pressure to some extent. The smaller the micron the more the pressure is reduced. I prefer to use the under counter water filter that filters only drinking water. Who cares if the toilet water or shower water is filtered or not. Good luck
