las vegas rv storage question
Ok all thoughs living in vegs,need some advice.Were leaving phoenix,andrelocating to las vegas,and will be in the southern highlands area,theres some in the area,but woud like advice on a open storage,safe,and storage cost not breaking the bank.

Went to a RV show this past weekend in phoenix sponcered by a large dealer in the area. They had two Carriage 5th wheels there,bothe way over $100 plus! and someone asked about the warranty." we(the dalaer) are giving a two year warranty for $2.500 "

Yap!! After living 20 years in Plano Tx. the no state tax was made up in property taxes,elect.trash/water,insurance. Were now living temp. in phoenix,and keep my retirement funds in texas so there not taxed.

We lived in the dallas area for 20 years.I think what you keep in your trailer depends upon how many times you use it durring the year.We kept ours stocked with the basics for food,fully stocked with linens,towels,clothes etc.We used ours a couple weekends a mounth,year round.

Personaly,i do my oun waxing.I use "NEW FINISH" in the orange bottle,and is easy to apply,and remove.It will take a couple days or so to do the total rig.Also apply some "303" to all the rubber/plastic stuff.

Gased up at Quartzite thursday,and main street was bumper to bumper. Trafic to the "BIG" tent was also bumper to bumper.Stoped at one vendor area and saw mostly "junk",but i guess theres losts of stuff if you look really hard. And the desert is full of trailers.
Question! when they pump out your poop tank,were does itgo in Quartzite?

In short,i've also heard this about diesels and turbos.So when unhooking the trailer,i will leave the motor running for cool down,and not starting/stoping the diesel,thets hard on them also.

Sierra and sandpiper are the same,but for the interior/exterior colors.Were on ore second forest river sandpiper,first was a TT,and now a 345ret. 5th.Other than minor fixes,as on any new trailer,no problems.They have been a good mid level trailer for our needs.
