RE: Tire help needed

16's would be great but for a FS2600 save your money and go with the E rated Maxxis......

RE: Fleedwood Gearbox Ramp Door Frame

Been there. Replace upper lag bolts with bigger ones that mount door frame to side wall. The the lag screws have a tendency to rip out of the thin wall aluminum tubing when travling on Californa's road system.
Yup pretty common - I just pulled it back into place and replaced all the screws with one size bigger and added twice the screws (one every 6" instead of every 12-18")Its been a couple years and Ive had no problems since...
I have also seen one guy who used carriage bolts from the outside through to the inside with acorn nuts on the inside.

RE: Truck Tire Suggestions

Running the toyo open country AT. Needed their high load capacity. Happy with them.
X2 on the Toyo's - They have a higher rating than the BFG's that I used to run.

RE: Adding 2nd battery question and battery monitor

As for as a battery monitor I just go get one of these and save a few bucks:http://www.walmart.com/ip/Equus-Innova-3721-Battery-and-Charging-System-Monitor/15137663
Amazon has them for $14 - I run one in my trailer and one in my truck also..... Cant beat em for the price :C

RE: Adding 2nd battery question and battery monitor

it might make more sense to go to a dual 6v system then to just add another 12v Group 24 Battery.
X2 :C

RE: Rust???

Wow I'm really shocked that the large tank fills the generator.
i was suprised too. glad JEFFWS posted that cause i had it the other way around thinking the smaller of the 2 was for the gen.
I thought it was kinda weird myself.....:C

RE: Rust???

15 gallons and the other is 30 gallons. im not sure which one the generator runs off of.
Generator should run off the 15 gallon and the fuel station off the 30 gallon.
My Gearbox.....
30 gallon feeds the Genny.
18 Gallon is AUX.
My Gearbox has a switch at the fuel station that allows you to use either tank for the fueling of bikes. I usually put cheap gas in the big tank for the Genny and Premium in the smaller tank for the bikes.
Id say the first 1/4 gallon of fuel that comes out of mine is dark - I always figured that was from sitting in the line for a few weeks. I never have seen rust in it. I just Fill the Rhino up first then the bikes... no worries

RE: Toy Haulers: I'm tired of tires

Very cool.
I wonder if anyone has pictures of Rocketman's contraption that he shot off the first time he joined up with our group (from the Santa Cruz Mafia). That bicycle wheel with the rocket motors was one of the scariest things I've ever seen. I give him points for creativity though.
That wheel was AWESOME, I don't have pictures as I was unable to hold a camera (or anything) that late at night
But how about Rocket Man's Sky Bowler?
and a Nightime shot
with flairs in the fingerholes
Should have seen what the cannon did to an abandoned school bus last year... have that somewhere too.

Fair enough, my mistake.
Next question...do you have a preference between an LT (light-truck) tire or a trailer tire?
Can you tell me what the difference is in???
