RE: Question about the Nuwa 5ers

The wrap is a radiant barrier. NuWa makes no R value claim for the radiant barrier wrap. NASA invented it, suppose they thought it worked? The belly's receive heat from the radiant heat from the heating ducts. There is no heat outlet in the belly. The radiant heat from the heat ducts does just fine protecting the tanks and such. But if you relay on heat other than the furnace your tanks and water lines will be at risk. NuWa puts as much insulation in as others, the front cap and back cap all have fiberglass insulation while the walls have the DOW Blue Foam in the walls. Fiberglass insulation in the belly would be a mistake, and no NuWa trailers are not known for water leaks (they are the same as any manufacturer). The radian barrier is most felt in the floors of the slides in the winter, it keeps the floor much warmer than a slide with no radiant barrier in the floor. ...Jeff... Are HitchHikers known for their water leaks? Is that why they use the bubble wrap? My Snow Bird by NuWa had a mouse leak. Without a sealed bottom they would run in like crazy---got 4 one night. There was a hole in the floor under the cabinets for the water fill to go to the tank. Had a mouse caught in a trap run down there, trap and all. That's when I pulled the bottom off---to get that out of there.
