RE: Pismo Beach

I have a friend that had an upholstery shop make the snap on block. These are custom made. It works good but you cannot stop the wind. My best luck has been door faceing the water. at least all the stuff out front isnt covered over by the sand.

RE: Looking for RV park in East San Fran Bay area

East Southeast side ? a little more specific might help.
Hayward area it looks like. I looked down at San Jose, but heard traffic can be a real bear.
To Hayward from all angle's isnt good.
You want to look Hayward, San Lorenzo,San Leandro,Newark and Fremont for easy access to work.

RE: Memorial Day weekend

Gorman, higher elevation, maybe a little cooler.
That does not sound bad..
Temps should be nice in Gorman, too crowded for me though, even a regular weekend gets crazy. Get up and ride early, before the drunks wake up!
Camp in the right spot and ride out of the valley Gormans a wonderful weekend.

Glad he got lucky Bob, those greens are full of piss and vinegar and think their 6 foot tall. Dogs and humans be careful of them.

RE: Upgrading 16" China BOMBS to 17.5" Wheels/tires???

I did a search but came up blank so here goes:
I'm expecting delivery of my new Voltage 3905 Epic with full body paint in about a week. I'm replacing the factory tires for sure. I'm looking at the Goodyear G614RST (G rated 3750#) and hearing mixed reviews. I've also priced new 17.5" aluminum wheels with Cooper Roadmaster RM160's with 4805# ratings on wheel and tires. Both have 75mph speed ratings. The GVWR of the trailer is 19,000#, pin wt. around 3500#, with 7000# axles and factory 3500#+ China Bomb tires.
My question is, how harsh of a ride could I expect for my TH with the 17.5's? It has Trail Air Equaflex suspension but I hate to beat my trailer to death. Any of you folks make this change?
So exactly what size 17.5 are you looking at ? 215 or 235

RE: Exterior lighting

Id like to upgrade the exterior lighting on my Raptor. For situations like bbqing under the awning or working on the toys at night. I noticed last time out that my hauler lacks in the exterior lighting department. My buddies with older haulers like the ww and ragens have way brighter lights for the patio area. Anybody upgrade or add lights to the side of your hauler?
You can buy those lights new about $50 each, should be able to cut holes for them same place your lights are at right now.

RE: Stuck

I can't count the number of times something like this has happened while camping in the middle of this side of nowhere.....
Your like Moses Dave, people flock to you.......:W
It has to be Dave!!! He brings out the good in Peeps!!
Yeah. Just like Moses. I lead them through the desert for 40 years and then we set a bush on fire.
So true so true :S

RE: Garage Model vs Open Floorplan

Most atv's can be stood up on the rear end, tied down and hauled that way. That really decreases the amount of floor space needed to haul them from about 6 feet long to about 3 feet long.
Why not try putting them on their side? they would take up even less space.Smallest footprint is standing up on their rear end. Plus, it's easy to tip them up on their rear end without damaging them. Laying them on their sides, you might end up with bent handle bars or broken fenders. I have hauled my various ATC's up on their rear ends many times with no problems.
You might have missed his sarcasm, some comments here and mine are to man up and get a real toyhauler with plenty of space to haul TOYS :B
Its not a blue hair campout
