RE: Sanitizing fresh water system in the 5er

X2 If you have a country fill option on your tank you can use that to get the mixture into your tank
Country fill?
I have the same set up.
City Water with a valve to fill the tank. I also have a winterizing hook up.
I've read that some pull water in through this and have a hose that connects from the outside shower into the city water fill.
I'm going to do some experimenting this weekend as camping Memorial Day is no longer on my short list of things to do.

RE: BAL Lock Arm Stabilizers and Cougar fifth wheels

I have a friend with the same rig and he attached some angle between the frame and loves them.
I'll PM him and have him send you the details.

RE: Power cord ?

As others said, cut the cord to 1 20' and 1 30' length. Cut it so the 30' length has the fitting to attach to the trailer and on the cut end add the 50A male plug. On the other cord add the 50A female plug, so essentially you have a 30' power cord and a 20' extension. Switch if most places use less than 20', but this way you only need the 2 ends and no other adapters to make 50'.
I priced this out and it isn't a whole lot cheaper and at the end of the day, still have 2 cords, but at leat they both are more managable.

RE: Campgrounds with waterpark - within 6 hours of Philadelphia

Killens Pond, just a little south of Dover is a State Park with a small water park.
While you're there visit the Dover AFB museum and then stop in at the Doner Haus for a great meal.

RE: Install instructions for Reese 16K

Here is a link to a video on eTrailer.
It's for a 2002 250 but seems to be pretty similar to what you're looking for.

RE: A warning to all campers

Contact the parent company and they will probably give you a free camping voucher, we did.
My story is a little messier, but less costly.
We were put in their original transient sites, right after they went from seasonal only.
This site was up front in the wide open field, between 2 "seasonal" permanent type mobile homes. There was still large chunks of the footing of the unit that was removed.
The neighbors cable was broken so they were plugged into ours, no biggie we were there for the shore and most nights out too late to watch TV, but I always keep a splitter and tapped in. The person came out to start something and I explained what I was doing, and offered to contact the manager to work things out, but they saw the light. We drove through the CG and wondered how they would ever attract any transients for the inner sites unless they were using a pop up or a tent.
Long story short we were getting ready to leave and I sent my son out to pull the black tank handle. He shouted to me to come quick. Our hose was floating in a very large puddle of sewage. The jacks were up and we were hitched so I pulled out of the site, mind you my son never got near the valve. I went over to the neighbor and he laughed as it is a common occurance anytime someone in this row dumped. My level block were under this mess so I left them behind. I went to the office and they pointed me to the dump station. I started to dump, when this began to back up so I quickly closed the valve, unhooked the hose and drove off, now minus 10' of mid grade sewer hose. I drove the approx 125 miles home with full black and grey tanks to a local dealer to dump.
I contacted Morgan and they sent me a free 2 night voucher for Echo Farms or another one in N.J. only. I still have it in the bathroom just in case I ever run out of t.p. so it may serve some use.
Last weekend we stayed at a Morgan Park in Virginia for 1 night on the way back from Tennessee, and wish we had more time to stay there, so it is all local park / management specific.
