RE: Power inverter question .
Microwaves are picky. I have a Xantrex 2000 watt and I can run the microwave, but it doesn't run at full power and not for very long.
What do you need to heat up that the stove/oven won't handle?

It is also unfortunate that the reporter was not more descriptive of how the CO leaked inside. One also has to wonder why the CO detector was not alarming.
According to the article not all of them went to bed at the same time so you would assume the alarm would be ringing. Wasn't interested in getting 4g service, just wondered if a 4g capable phone would get better 3g or E reception. I'm about due for an upgrade so maybe this is the time. Have always been Alltel and Centel until ATT took over last winter in our area. Prior to ATT my phones although not smart always got maximum bars of signal strength in same campground that now just barely delivers via ATT. Verizon does work good, Sprint and Boost don't.I don't want to commit to 2 years if it isn't gonna get better by next spring, I'll switch to Verizon.More bars of signal strength do not equal faster data service.

As the above responders posted if you can't get 3G I doubt you'll receive 4G.
I am in the Atlanta area and used to see post about cell phone service all the time about Verizon vs AT&T. I'm an AT&T user and could never understand people trashing AT&T service as I had nothing but good to say. No dropped calls, fast data service, etc. When I said this I used the data services primarily in the eastern US. Well my son moved to Vegas and we do an extended trip every year to see him and now I know what everyone was talking about. Rarely had 3g service and when we'd go to post on facebook or check in to places on facebook it would take forever. Don't even think about adding a photo. Had to eat my words in defending AT&T to a few people.When was the last time you went to Vegas? Is it still bad for ATT there?

My first trailer had a TPO roof, it stayed whiter than my current rubber roof. That being said, it is a roof, I clean mine, but why coat it? It's not visible under normal operating conditions and the manufacturer recommends cleaning only, no coatings.

For Arches, any of the RV parks in Moab are good. For Zion, I prefer to stay in Springdale at the RV park, very close to the entrance. At Bryce, I stayed at Ruby's.

There is a group of campgrounds just of Hwy 120 before the long grade that goes into Yosemite. I think they are county run. A nice trout stream runs through them. Another string of camps around Twin Lakes up by Bridgeport.
I'm pretty sure all the national forest campgrounds in the area will be closed by the end of October.
Just checked- Looks like they close them Oct 17. The ones on 120 are county run tho but who knows when the pass will close.
They plow it if the snow fall is not too heavy. Once the first significant storm hits, they close it.

To be honest, I think I have only used my microwave 2 or 3 times on the inverter. I do have a generator that I usually run it off of.

Interesting. I have run my Samsung 32 in LCD for probably 100+ hours on my Xantrex MSW inverter. And ya, the microwave cycles, but not sure it is half power.

I run my whole trailer on a modified sine wave inverter by Xantrex. Including an LCD tv and computer. PSW inverters aren't mandatory by any stretch.They most certainly are not mandatory but I can run anything on mine. Can't say that about MSW.I haven't tried anything that won't run on mine, what won't run on yours?
