RE: Coach-net

This post smells funny. Probably hydrolic fluid. Coach Net has more positive posts than any other that I have read.

RE: Propane cyl ?

It seems a lot of information regarding propane cylinders has been shared and this is good. My external tank is a 40lb. but did not have the safety sticker attached so I was not aware of the danger. Maybe this posting has saved more than one life. Thanks everyone for posting.

Propane cyl ?

This morning, I heard a voice call my name. Once I determined it was not God, (not a morning person) it became obvious that my neighbor was wanting my attention. He told me that my external propane tank providing propane to my extend a stay, should be stored in the upright position. Is this true? I have never been told this before.

RE: TST vs TireTraker

I purchased tire tracker in December. One 400 mile road trip convinced me it was a winner. The tires might not show you the pressure you have before beginning a road trip but that does not mean they are not being monitored. If the tire pressure drops, moving or not, you will know about it. The only thing which bothers me is the occasional signal loss which does not last long.

RE: A/C Gasket

Thank you everyone for the input. Tinstar posted some great information which everyone can benefit from, so thank you. I tightened the nuts some and now I wait for rain. Might be a long time or not here in So. Tx.

A/C Gasket

I have a Coleman roof A/C unit that is leaking when it rains. I have read on this forum that I should tighten four bolts one turn to compress the gasket but I don't know where those bolts are located. Are they on the roof or under the inside return air cover?

RE: Sleep Number bed-Roll call

My wife and I had sleep number bed in the home and loved it. When we purchased our MH two years ago for full time use, it came with a sleep number bed and we still love it. We would not be happy with anything else.

RE: Uprade to tile floor

I might be wrong here but most rigs need a little flexing while moving down the road. If the tile is ridged and hard like ceramic tile, I would think some cracking or tile separation might occur.

RE: how do you stay connected?

I found using and air card works well. My first air card was from Cricket but you might want to shop around. My experience with Cricket's billing and support is the worst but the air card worked very well for me.

RE: Water Softeners

I recently purchased the Flow Pur Mark 8000 and installed it in 5 min.
We have extremely hard water in San Antonio, TX so after 3 weeks, I charged it with table salt for 30 min. The water is not fully soft but very noticeably soft. I would not go back to using only water filters. It also seems to be helping my water heater to rejuvenate.

RE: Propane question

Thank you for the responses. The main propane tank of the RV has a gauge showing me how much propane I have available. If I have both tanks open, I will be able to tell by the monitor how much is left. 1/4 on the gauge will be like having a 1/2 full tank like it was originally before hooking up the external tank. I know how much time is left when my tank is 1/2 full and that is a lot of propane. I hope this makes sense.

Propane question

2000 Pace Arrow Vision with built in propane tank. I recently installed the extend a stay to make sure we do not go without propane during the winter. We had a lack of propane service last winter causing problems. I would like to know if opening the valve on both propane bottles would cause problems such as to high of pressure. Hope to hear from some of you in the know.

Dash a/c-1999 F-53...Not receiving power

1999 F-53 under 2000 Pace Arrow Vision. The heating and air conditioning control unit in the dash is not receiving power. The only power getting to it is the lights when the headlight switch is turned on. I check all the fuses and they test out as good. The control was coming off and on randomly until recently. Now nothing. Anyone have ideas?
