RE: Winterization Package?

Hi: The winterizing packzge I have installed is a two way valve between the water pump and fresh water tank. A Tygon tubing is installed on the valve and the other end goes to a bottle of antifreeze. I then turn the pump om and open each faucet (one by one) until only antifreeze comes out I usually use two gallons of anti freeze. Since the antifreeze is going into gray and black water tanks. Also, since it goes thru the pump I winterizing it. I still have to drain all tanks before and by pass the hot water tank so I don't need six gallons of anti freeze. It takes me about thirty minutes to do and is a one man operation. Hope this helps.

Hollywood Casino at Bay ST. Louis,MS

Friends recently moved to Gulfport, Ms. We intend to visit them and have looked at Campgrounds. We are also interested in a casino RV park. Hollywood Casino at Bay St. Louis gets a nice writeup and is highly rated. Their writeup says only steps from RV park to casinos. My wife is handicapped and I have to push her wheelchair. Has anyone stayed there? Steps could mean a half mile uphill in some cases. We stayed at Harrahs RV park in Tunica and they had shuttle buses. However, only one shuttle had a handicap lift and that was never the one that arrived when we were coming or leaving the casino and was a pain. Thanks for any input.

RE: 1995 27 ft. Bounder winter use

Yes. Do not leave water hose or sewer hose connected if below freezing. If warmer during day you can replenish water tank. hos2000

Bypassing Norfolk,Va.

Next week I will be heading to New Jersey and decided to take the Cheasapeake Bay Bridge tunnel and Cape May ferry. I will be heading West on US58 toward Norfolk. I plan on getting on I64 and get off at a US13 exit or any exit saying CBBT. Is there an easier way and what signs should I be looking for? Thanks for any help.

overnight on 301 in maryland

I am leaving in two weeks driving from North Carolina to Atlantic City, NJ. I usually take US301 from Richmond to Delaware Memorial Bridge. I have stopped a couple of times at a rest area on 301 located about ten miles north of US 50 in MD for lunch. This rest area is located in the middle of the four lane 301. My next trip I have to leave NC after lunch. I do not like to drive at night. I plan to stop at this rest area. I remember seeing a posting saying the rest area closes the gate a 5:00 PM. I don't remember seeing a gate there. I will not need the facilies, just a parking space. Has anyone stayed there overnight or does it close? Ido not remember seeing any campgrounds on US301 in the part of MD.

RE: Carpet Replacement

I did the same replacement on my HR Augusta. I first went to Camping World and was informed that the outfit which does the work would be available next day. This indicated to me thatCW would be a middleman. I went to Home Depot and selected the vinyl I wanted. Home Depot had list of vinyl installers. I called couple and found one who had worked on a MH. He removed the old carpet and hundreds of staples, laid a new sub floor and installed new runners where the vinyl met other materials. Total cost was $350.00
