Thanks everyone. I guess dumping too often is way better than not dumping often enough. Just looked up our specs. We have a 2009 Excel 36TKE with a 46 gallon black water tank. Hi, We have recently gone full-timing. We (2 of us) have a 40 gallon black water holding tank. It seems as though we need to dump twice a week. We know that everyone's usage is different but we felt that 2x/week was a lot. Any thoughts. Thanks 		histepper47 09/24/11 06:13pm Full-time RVing
