RE: Rv pad rental

I do believe I sort of mis spoke. I said we stayed at Mesa Spirit, which we did but that was 3 years ago in Arizona. What I meant to say was we stayed at Mission Bell last year and played pool on the inter-park team at Green Gate Grove.
Only about 500 parks to choose from, I would just come down & get a space for a week and visit many parks to find the park, site and area you like best.
Or if you have more detailed wants maybe better suggestions can be made.
You can get in most parks without an advance reservation.
Prices range from about $200. a month to $700. a month. Plus electric.
We had stayed at Mesa Spirit but found it too big. I think you are at Green Gate Grove which we are looking at. Played pool there
Green Gate Grove is very nice, that is where we are after looking at about 100 parks. The lots are all privately owned & you have to rent direct from the owner. There is a list of lots for rent on the website. Also the office has paper copies.
Very near by is Americana that is nice, also Bentsen Grove.

RE: What did you do to your Class A MH today???

My Gas price...
$265.00 fall 2012. I was not laughing...but I did get $12.00 back in Canadian Tire money !!LOL
This was in Fall before I put it away for winter...
I could not believe the people waving and motioning to hitch hike... I felt like a movie star driving my first RV through the parking lot... Until I told them at work and they laughed at me and said "they probably thought you were going to a warm climate for winter and wanted to come"... Oh duh..LOL
I added all vent covers, Stove Cover, bigger grab handle to the entrance,
screen door bars, got my exit deck and stairs finally ...wow quality
Easy assembly too... looking very forward to setting it all up and using this summer. I bought them from Hofman RV Products..
Now I have to bring it in to dewinterize and get my "delamination" under the one window fixed... $$ I sure hope it is all worth it in the end ;)
Where are you from in Canada. We are from St. Joseph Island just out of Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario

RE: Hydraulic levelling jacks not working

Yoy might want to check with your insurance company. They have been known to cover things like that.
We are not the original owners and the insurance has expired.

RE: Hydraulic levelling jacks not working

Finally got the rig back from the shop where it was because of trouble with the levelling jacks. $1980.00 later we are infomed that the selenoids and the control board where burned out because of leaving the board activated after bypassing one selenoid. No where in the HWH manual does it say this. Beware!!

RE: Hydraulic levelling jacks not working

Got the word today that the problem with my levelling jacks is not hydraulic related but the electronic circuit board is fried. HWH has got to make a new one and the delivery time is 4 to 6 weeks. This will put a big hole in the budget! Just what we needed when we were planing on escaping this snow.

RE: What did you do to your Class A MH today???

Repaired the facing around closet on bedroom slide. Do not know how it got damaged. Levelling jacks still not working.Had trouble with one not coming up on the way home and had to use manual bypass to get it up. Since then none will go down???????????
Manual By-Pass valve is probably stuck open or leaking by.
Check Hydro fluid level?
Could not find the problem and took it into the shop today

RE: Hydraulic levelling jacks not working

Are they HWH? I can never get mine to work right during the winter. Once the weather warms up they work fine. Be sure to check the fluid level.
MilesThey are HWH with spring return and hydraulic down. That is why I thought maybe there was someway that I created an air lock. The day the trouble started we were in Louisiana and it was 78F. We drove 2400 miles home and were not able to put the jacks down whenever we stopped.

Hydraulic levelling jacks not working

We have a 2005 Winnebago Adventurer. When we were on our way home in December the left rear levelling jack would not come up. Had to use the manual bypass to be able to pry it up. Since then none of the jacks will go dowm. Can hear the pump running and there is not a sign of leaks. Could there be an air lock? Any suggestions?
