RE: Extended Mail Stop Question
There is an alternative if one has a relative or other person to receive your mail. You can temporarily forward mail for up to six months by using on-line usps.com/umove. In my case, the last few years I have stayed at an RV park all summer so I simply set them up as temporary address. In years past, when I was moving frequently, I used my daughter's address. This worked very well as she could check the mail and if something looked important call me to decide if to send to me or take some other action.
