RE: Many Heartland Cyclone problems.

We have a 2011 Heartland Road Warrior 385. The dealer has had it more than we have, problem after problem after problem! They had it for a couple months the first time because the linolium tore from the slide and since it was 2010 the couldn't get the 2011 flooring in until a certain date. Last October it went it and we did not get it back until March with pages of issues! Ours is a piece of junk!

RE: Hitch setup question

when i put a fifth airborne on our old cougar IT raised the front up acouple of inches but I thought it rode alot better. But it did have the airide hitch. My brother has his up in the front it rides well too. Have you seen an increase in the ride Quality by lowering the rear.

RE: What should I do?

I think it is a hassle because the the thing is huge. It took my fuel consumption from 10 to under 8 while towing the other guys had to put 20 gal of fuel in i had to put in 30, so my range is alot shorter. Half the camp sites have an area away from everyone else that the big ones go in or they tell you you just cant fit. Or they tell you it'll fit and you gotta trim trees to get in to the spot. The triple axles look like the rubber is gonna peel off when you do back in to a spot. AS far as pulling the hills I would like to atleast just turn off overdrive and pull them in drive at 55.Yes I have a cummins the 03 with the 305 hp high out put. I have a pac brake exhaust brake, abeefed up trans and a bully dog down loader set on tow haul.I miss the old cougar 320srx. I changed the fuel filter about 10,000 miles ago.

RE: What should I do?

OH, by "won't tow well", It is too heavy for the truck. Not bad around the shore but went to deep creek lake a few weeks ago. Second gear to the floor 43 mph.

RE: What should I do?

HOw I got like this, I went to the camper show. I almost think it was an impulse buy that took 3 Months to get. AS far as a new truck, no. I thought about it but the big camper has become more of a hassle then it is worth to us. The payments arent what I call bad but they are not $100 a month either.I think i will try to sell it out right but I have one more dealer I want to call first. Then we'll either trade it or get out for a while.

RE: Washing our Jayco for the first time.

we use a meguiars boat soap with wax in it it helps keep the streaking down and don't strip the wax like some other soaps.

RE: Advice on fixing skylight

i'd Pump alot of sealant around it, pat it, and hope it don't leak. OR pull it off and re bed it and hope it don't leak and you don't break it.

What should I do?

Last year we got a Heartland Road warrior 385rw. Since we started camping about 3 years ago I wanted a toy hauler with a full size garage mainly if I wanted to take stuff Other then just a golf cart. It was great at first but the truck won't tow it well, I think i got too big of a trailer for the truck. I have a 3500 dodge diesel. I have been thinking about trading it (the camper) off for another one but the dealers want to give me one third less then they are listing a 4 or 5 year old unit for. I know they gotta make a living but give me a break. Even looking at the other used ones they don't come off the price of them. from my shoes it looks like they'll make 15 or 20 grand on mine when they sell it and make 15 off the one I'd buy. We have a mortgage on ours so I don't really know the process for sellin it outright. What would you guys do?
