RE: 5th Wheel Snaps for Front Legs....question?

Last year our 2003 Sunnybrook pins looked a little rusty, so replaced them. Wasn't expensive. If you get better ones, you won't have to replace very often. If the tension seems flimsy, you better replace.

RE: Need advice, traveling 2k miles in 5th wheel. (new to rving)

Keep your speed at a safe mph. It takes a lot to stop and people tend to get in front of you because they don't want to drive behind our trailers. Just because you can tow at 70mph or faster, doesn't mean you should. We keep it at 60 mph. Safer and better gas mileage. No time card to punch so take it slow and easy and safe.

RE: RVers and Retirement Funds

I've read a lot of articles in Money, Smart Money, Kiplingers, etc. and none have any answers to investing in anything over 2% or 3%. If someone is offering that kind of return, I would really check it out first. The SEC (Securities & Exchange Commission)can give you info too. Be careful out there.

RE: Smell

I think you need to find a way to get rid of the mouse first. Then try Fabreeze and leave open to the air. It will take Time. Something we used in a refrigerator that had some rotten food in it -- Vanilla, (not the imitation kind).

RE: Outdoor Television -- Good Idea or PITA?

If you're going to do it, earphones are the way to go. I can't help but wonder why some people would say "Go For It - Do what you Want!" It's inconsiderate to do what you want to the detriment of other people's enjoyment. Most people don't blast radios or TVs because they want to enjoy the outdoors. If a camper wants a noisy place, stay home (if your neighbors allow it).
Most of us are trying to rest & relax away from the hubbub of everyday life. No harm with earphones.
