We love that park and will be there starting June 8 for about 9 nights.

RE: Blackwater Clean out Leaking -Heartland Northtrail

I have a 32 BUDS and had the exact same problem the first time I used it. Another poster said it, I don't believe they have people checking to see if the plumbing fixtures/lines are tightened. Sink in kitchen was loose as well.
I would first just check to be sure it is tightened. If not, take it back.
Heartland has very good quality, great customer service, and great product for the money but they most definitely lack in quality control.

RE: Trailer Shined up like new tonight

Funny. I just ordered it from Amazon not 15 seconds ago for the same price.
Hope it works because I have an afternoon of cleaning in my near future.

Any more info on Roll Off? A search on that topic didn't turn up anything useful. What is it and where do I get it?

RE: Tampa Area/Busch Gardens Campground

I don't believe it has sewer hook ups though. I will need to double check.

RE: Tampa Area/Busch Gardens Campground

Texan,
Do you have another option by chance? LazyDays looks pretty good. Our plan is to hit Busch Gardens, rest a day, hit Sea World (about 60 miles away), rest a day, then hit Universal.
Thanks,
Jeff

Tampa Area/Busch Gardens Campground

Was planning a trip to Branson for March but quite a bit of Silver Dollar City will still be closed at that time. Maybe hit it in June. Instead we are considering Busch Gardens and Sea World. I have searched on rvparkreviews but was interested in knowing if anyone has a recommendation for a good campground in that area.
Thanks,
Jeff

Musicland Kampground in Branson - Fires?

Trying to firm up a trip in March and need to know if anyone can verify that Musicland Kampground in Branson allows fires. They are closed until 3/1 so I can't reach them.
Thanks in advance.

RE: Wholesale RV Club?

I live in Florida and I bought from them back in 2010. Good experience overall. I wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again.

RE: electric trailer stablizers

They come down two at a time but they float. It isn't required that the ground be level. They won't start to 'stabilize' until both reach the ground.
To the OP, since you are getting a Heartland product I know they offer remote control electric stabilizer jacks. I refused these but now wish I would have got them. Nothing major but it is difficult to see the back jacks coming down so it is difficult to see if the boards are in the right spot. With a remote you could stand right there and contorl them.
Just a thought.

RE: More on "This many problems with a 2011?"

I have a 3 month old Heartland and have had numerous issues as well. It is in the shop now for multiple issues. From all of my research they (Heartland) are great to work with directly. I know you said you haven't had much luck thus far with that but perhaps another try would get it going?
Hoping you get things straightened out. Praying that when I get mine back this week that I am good to go.

RE: Bike carrier on TT spare tire mount...yay or nay?

As mentioned above this topic has been covered NUMEROUS times and overwhelmingly it has been decided this is a bad idea. There was even a guy a couple weeks ago that owned up to this mistake. Thought he had it all worked out and then something happened to his bumper on a trip. Not good.
One poster on here recommended buying one of those front wheel bike racks that you buy at Target or something. They just sit on the floor and allow you to place the front or back tire of two bikes in them. That and a few bungy cords and you can keep them in the trailer while traveling. That is what I did and it worked great.
A stand like this is what I used.

RE: Making a bedrail for bed in RV?

We bought an extend-able shower curtain rod. One of the ones that you twist to get it to extend. Works like a champ and is a breeze to pull down.

Outdoor Under Trailer Slide Storage

I seem to remember a poster shared a mod he did that was mounted to the frame and allowed for storage of thinner type items like tables etc.. I believe it slid out, but it may not have.
Anyone else remember this or am I losing it? I'm having trouble finding the thread.
