RE: Holding Tanks

How about a larger blue tank you could run a drain line or 2 to that then all you would need to do is drag the blue tank to the dumping station. Just a thought..

RE: What are these fresh water system valves thru floor?

My guess too would be low point drain lines. I have 4 of them on my underbelly.

RE: Tires

So who sells and installs Maxuss tires. I am due for a new set of tread. I have had 2 blowouts in the last 6 months the last one on I-65 in Tenn. Thanks for the Trooper who happened along at least he was able to provide me some much needed coverage as I changed the tire on the interstate.

RE: TT Storage area

I wish I could be helpful in this area! If there is one thing that I can't stand the last two trailers I have owned are lacking in exterior storage. My current trailer has only one pass-thru storage unit in the front of the unit. I have had to modify what I carry there, I put essentials in a low profile plastic bin and slide it in and out when needed. My other storage areas are inside under the dinette, and the bed. Our next unit will be researched with exterior storage in mind. Good look on your quest for more exterior space.

RE: Looking for overnight stop Alabama

Hi all just thought I would report back on my overnight in Alabama. We ended up staying at the KOA in Clanton AL. The facility was very clean, the staff was overly friendly and helpful. My only complaint would be that the entire park was gravel including the sites there was a small concrete pad with a picnic table but that was it. Even though it was directly on I-65 we never really noticed. There is a Walmart and several places to dine in Clanton.

RE: suburban SW6P wont light

I would first go to home depot or walmart and get a replacement thermal cupler I think I paid $7.00 for mine and the camper versions are the same as the home versions.

RE: Difficult Driveway and Parking Spot. What would you do?

I have had to manuver a lot of large vehicles in my job as a firefighter but, that drive and grade is something that I am not too sure that I would like to attempt. The no guardrail, the steep grade, length of the trailer, ect..those are all factors that need to be considered. Not to mention the fact that you might return from a trip late in the evening when it's dark, raining, storming, or something's been spilled on the drive by accident. If you are dead set on that TT, then you might want to consider a local storage facility for your new TT. just my two cents worth. Good luck!
