Broken water tank bulkhead repair?

Howdy all, I was wondering how to repair a broken water tank bulkhead? Under my trailer i noticed the bulkhead that attaches (fused or silconed to the water tank underside) is cracked and leaking. Can this be repaired?

RE: How is the riding in Parker, Az.?

We are going to be on the cali side of the river across the street from hwy 62 (i saw alot of trails) just north of blue water at one of them trailer parks, i was planning on riding the quads to the north staying on the cali side (unless u can legally access the AZ side from there?) I don't want to trail the bikes to a staging area. My plan was to ride to north from hwy 62 and east of hwy 95 (chamber wells road? maybe trails end camp road) to access all that area... Is this all BLM land?
Where are you planning on campng or staying at? Shea road 3 miles out from the 95 is Osborne Wash. The wash runs all the way into town just north of Blue Water Casino/RV park. You can ride out of there for miles and miles, up to Havasu, Alamo Lake, Swansea, Bouse, Bill Williams River. If you are just staying a few days, take Shea Rd. out to the end of the pavement, at the aqueduct it turns to dirt, and you can loop trails out there for days. Vampire Mine rd., Monitor Mine Road, or Swansea are all good day rides. If you go to Desert Bar on Cienega Springs Rd, just a ways past the shooting area, you'll see a road/trail off to the right, that will take you out to Shea Rd. and loop back to town that way. Also several blue ribbon jeep trails off of Cienega Springs. Presidents Choice is one of them. Grey Eagle Mine loop is also good to Desert Bar or down to Hwy 95 at Buckskin Mtn State Park. Thats the one Kris speaks of.

How is the riding in Parker, Az.?

Hello Y'all, Just wondering if someone can be so kind to to point me to the trails around Parker. I'll be heading up there for the first time to ride the quads and really dont know the area and which way the trails run.... i called BLM and there was so much info i was overloaded with info. Nothing in particular, just how to access the trail system. I heard there's a bar out in the middle of no where just like the Slash X. Not i would be drinking but just for my own info

RE: Mammoth Lakes Area - Staging

oh man i almost forgot to post my trip report... went for the 4th of july weekend for 6 days
first time to mammoth lakes, no reservations, 7 hour drive pulling a toybox full of toys. got to fish for stocker trout 20 feet away from the campsite (glass creek campground). bbq, bikes and beer (not all in the order). We pretty much had the trails all to ourselves, only saw a few riders to the trails west of the 395 in and around glass creek. Drove into Glass creek (only CG with a small stream) and there was a big sign 'Camp ground Full', so we poked around a bit and found out it was first come first serve, and the CG host said there was a spot near the stream.... Sweet! weather was perfect, like 80. We got to ride almost all the trails in 6 days of riding, the ride up to mono craters (i think) was a blast, elev of 12,000 feet you can see mono lake from there. i wanted to take more pics but this time i was trying out the gopro hd cam (vid below).
i highly recommend this area to ride and i will try and make it a yearly event. In fact i wanna do an overnight with the streetbikes from los angeles this summer to tour the mammoth/ yosemite.
glass creek was free and you could ride out from camp. saw not one ranger the whole time. I wanted to do a little more fishing as people were pulling them out of the stream (12" stocker rainbow) but it cut to much into my beer drinking time

RE: Mammoth Lakes Area - Staging

We plan on arriving at nighttime and if the campgrounds are full, i dont know the area other than driving around at night looking for a place to pull off the road and set of camp.
help a fella out pls.
Never stayed at Browns but I've stayed at Glass Creek and Hartley Springs c.g. If your plated you could stay at Mammoth RV park in town for the conveince factor.
You can stay in the forest if you want to dry camp it. Mammoth is a primo area to ride and camp so please stay on the trails and pack it out.

RE: Mammoth Lakes Area - Staging

Sweet! Would u say there is enough trails out there to ride for a week?
glass creek is a favorite of most on here. We stayed at Brown's on the Owens River last year. Dry camping in an improved campground with fire rings and tables, pit toilets and water available (no dump but dump across the hwy about 10 miles away). You can access the trails right across the hwy and they're cool with riding in/out of camp as long as you're civil. Small store with ice, bait, etc. I read somewhere here that Glasscreek has about 1/2 the sites closed for construction or something.

Mammoth Lakes Area - Staging

Hello all,
I been looking at the Mammoth Lakes OHV map and would like to camp/ stage in a central location with direct access to the trails without having to break camp.
Can someone pls be so kind as to recommend a campsite location? (doesn't matter dry camping or campground but i perfer drycamping).
I was planning a week long trip to Marysvale to ride the Paiute trail system but weather says it's supposed to be rather warm, plan 'B' is mammoth lakes where it's much cooler

RE: Marysvale Utah - Paiute trail, couple questions

i dont have a problem staying at a campground, i just rather drycamp...
Im sure someone can chime in that theres plenty of places to camp on the sides of the trails?
Any reason not to stay at either Lizzie & Charlies or South-Forty RV Park, are they booked?

Marysvale Utah - Paiute trail, couple questions

Hello Y'all, Im planning a trip to ride the trails for the 4th of july week and would like to drycamp for a few days... Can some pls be so kind as to recommend a place to base camp from and be able to access the trails? I've heard one can camp out along the Paiute trail?
I have a 20 foot toyhauler + truck hauling two sport quads, I would rather not be in a campgroung.
Second question is after a google search there's so many trails, can someone chime in on the 'must do' trails? Any advise other than bring out of state beer?
Does a Cali regiestered need a 'out of state permit' in Utah?
I promise to return with GoProHD footage and pics!
the raptor has been sleeping since glamis 7 months ago, cant wait

Kennedy meadows trails - question about riding

Hello all, I been reading a few posts about Kennedy meadows
click and click
From the looks of it, it appears to be single track only? Also is not all technical riding is it? (black diamond trails only)
Looks like a bad ass place to camp/ ride in the summer months, close to southern cali
