RE: Hunting Island

When I get there I'll ride my bike to check out sites before pulling around to them. Trying to avoid totally using loop 4 road to get to site. TT is 35' and TV is 22' long worry bout too tight going around loop 4.

what's true

I have made brake shoe adjustments last year on our eagle 320 and wanted to do it again OR at least check them this year. Went by a auto / truck repair shop and was told Brake adjustment on a TT with electric brakes aren't nesesary if magnets are working. They self adjust.
Also shop guy where we purchsed TT pretty much said the same. Should I let these guys work on my TT OR do they know what they are talking about.
I thought shoes needed adj. just like auto does with drum/brake shoes.

RE: Hunting Island

Last year we were on 104 and across the roadway was 103 & 105 by the bath house. 107 was where the MH is siting in the picture. BUT the camp ground map I just viewed online has 105 there 107 is where 105 was last year. I think the CG map is incorrect.

RE: ez grease bearings

Where do you see the grease. Is it at the zerk or behind the hub? Can you see with just the dust cover removed.

ez grease bearings

Should there be some resistance after a couple of squirts of grease on the trigger or will grease keep flowing regardless of number of pulls

RE: EZ Lube Bearings

When I have used a trigger grease gun I use a couple of pulls. One question, if grease is getting to bearing shoud there be some resistance when applying the grease after a coule of squirts.

RE: jacking up while hooked up

Reason I wanted to stay hooked to TV was for safety from TT rolling. Even with the tongue jack down and the wheels on the other side blocked, I was afraid of a pivoit roll. My drive has a very slight incline.

jacking up while hooked up

Would it cause problem to my (DUAL CAM) hitch set up or trunnion bars if I jacked TT up to adjust brake shoes, doing one side at a time. Using a bottle jack and while hooked to TV and WDH bars in place.

RE: Battery is GONE

Stole mine about 2 weeks ago and the battery of TTs on each side of my TT. AND tore down the back fence at the storeage lot pulled a new TT from the back to the front gate - tore away the gate and left. At least they did not damage the cables.

RE: First trip ever

Remember the first thing put in place before unhooking from TV is wheel chocks AND the last thing removed after hooking up to TV is wheel chocks. No matter how level the site looks.
