RE: Compressor Question

Iv got a similar one as the previous poster has I carry in the jeep.
I got it from HF and it does ok.
Dont know Id trust it for the tires on the MH.
I also checked the CFM of the two and the pancake has a slightly larger volume.
Thanks for the replies.

Compressor Question

I believe this question has been addressed before.
We have a Class A gas rig and Im looking into a compressor to carry on the rig.
Iv got it narrowed down to either a Sears unit or a Porter Cable C 2002 pancake compressor.
Both are capable, according to the info sheet on them, of 150#.
Id like some feed back from owners of both.
Thanks.

RE: Bogus e-mail

I have received several email similar to those and have received some from banking sites as well.
Iv sent the emails to the respective sites so the fraud section can deal with it.
Iv also received several from supposed bankers in India, Nigeria and the latest came from England.
All filed in the respective folder.

RE: States with low License fees

We are looking for a place in Utah as we are there four months visiting DW s family and in Cali four months.
We re thinking about changing reg on the vehicles from Cal to Utah.
Dont know the proceedure or if it would be cost effective.
Anything would be better than Cali, I guess.

RE: Who carries a spare tire on your trailer hitch?

FWIW, when we had our Class C , I bought a carrier for it that slid into the receiver and it worked great.
We also have Coachnet to change the tire.
When we got our new rig, I m not using it because we re towing a Jeep.
If anyone is interested in the carrier, let me know.

If it s any help, we flat tow our 09 and all we did is have a charge line installed from the coach to the Jeep to trickle charge the battery while being towed.

FWIW, we had a macerator on our coach that was factory installed.
Had trouble with it twice and removed it from the coach.

RE: CB Antenna Question

Thanks for the replies.
I believe that I do have one that is factory installed as there are two antennas on the roof and I know one is for the regular radio.
The reason I asked I was trying to avoid getting on and off the roof to tune the fatory antenna.
Also trying to figure what I want to use for a amature antenna as well for 2 meter/ 440?

The MH is a Monaco and has fiberglass sides and top.

RE: Toad Rentals ?????

FWIW, when we first got our Class C MH, we were limited to what we could haul so we called the local Enterprise office whenever we stopped, required a vehicle and they provided a car while we were in the area.
Now that we re traveling more, we got a Jeep to tow behind the MH.
Might be something to consider.

RE: So I got to the dumpster---

Last time we were in a resort in Utah, there were two Class A traveling together and were parked on each side of us for a couple of days.
We left to do some errands and when we got back, they had left.
They left behind a reg and short hose and six lego blocks.
Owner came by and said they were going to throw them away and did I want them?
Silly Question:B
Wonder when they realized they left them?

RE: When you bought first class A, how long did it take you to?

When we bought our first coach, we got a C thinking it would work as it was just the two us traveling.
After having it for about a year, we took a trip with my sister and realized that we were due to upgrade.
Stopped at the local dealer "just to look what they have" :)
Found a brand new Monaco Class A, with 2200 miles on the odometer and less than 20 hourson the gen, that had never been registered.
ITs now residing beside our stick and brick.
After getting it, we went to Yosemite and again took my sister with us.
Worked out great.
We re very happy with it.
