RE: New to class B's

From your post are you saying the B you purchased does not have a hot water heater or you are not sure if it has a hot water heater????
All Pleasure-way B's I have seen have had a hot water heater. Regards Dick

RE: TV Antenae wired to Radio

If your trailer is still under warranty put in a claim that your AM/FM radio does not work with the supplied antenna. Maybe they will install the antenna you need for AM/FM. In all the trailers we have owned they had a separate rubber ducky antenna on the roof for the AM/FM radio. Regards, Dick

RE: TV Antenae wired to Radio

Was it a AM or FM radio station you were trying to listen to? As to why they hooked to TV antenna it saved them the cost of another antenna like most rvs have for the AM/FM radio.

RE: I changed my mind about a 12 volt TV.

Should you decide to change back to a 12V, here is a recommendation by a Pleasure-Way representative at a PW rally last year. www.roadtrucker.com recommended for replacement 12v electronic products. I have not purchased from them, but they have a big selection. Regards, Dick

RE: Winegard RoadStar TV Antenna

I know all about antennas thru my profession and as a Ham. I asked a question about a certain type of antenna to people who own one and said I was not interested in a crank up or Jack antenna. On another forum John just had to show how much he knows about antenna. I would really like to hear from people who have the antenna I listed. If I read a post asking about a Apple product and I have a HP, I just move onto the next read. That’s my two cents worth.

Winegard RoadStar TV Antenna

Winegard RoadStar RS-1500, RS-2000 or the new RS-3000 TV Antennas.
Do you have one of the above antennas and if so please give me you opinion.
Looking for information on any of the above Wingard RoadStar VHF/UHF Amplified Omni-Directional Outdoor TV Antennas.
I am very interested in the new RS-3000.
I plan to use it on my Class B to replace the ineffective internal antenna built into the fiberglass roof.
I don’t need replies regarding crank up or Jack antennas.

Dick

RE: Removing black tank

In effect you will no longer have a self contained motor home and will make it very hard to sell in the future. Pull the toilet if you want and cover the drain to the black tank, but leave the black tank attached to the RV.

RE: which is the best tv antenna, for longest range?

Winegard has just announced the new Winegard RoadStar RS-3000 VHF/UHF Amplified Omni-Directional Outdoor TV Antenna. I am going to put one on our B, have not purchased it yet. Check out www.winegard.com/. I don't think your existing antenna is a batwing antenna, and probably does not have a 12v amp. Regards, Dick

RE: What is the new "standard" on a well used engine?

My Dodge is a 5.9L (360ci) V8 gas. Not sure what Class B would have a 4.6L or smaller engine.

RE: What is the new "standard" on a well used engine?

I have a different opinion than Handbasket. The engine and trans in my Class B is much larger than my car and I don't tow with it so I would say it is subject to less wear. It has over 70K miles and still has lots of life left on its factory original brakes. Regeads, Dick

RE: New tires for 2003 Pleasure Way

If you have Toyo and purchased on the west coast, did you purchase from Les Schwab. The last tires I purchased on my previous Class C were Toyo that I purchased from Les Schwab and I was very pleased with them.
