After picking up 50 west from 97, I would take 301 south, then 4 south across the Solomon's bridge. Make a left on 235, follow that to the end and make a left on 5. Just a couple of miles more and the park will be on the right.
When are you heading to the "Point"???

My DH and I have the opportunity to get away for a few days this summer while our DS is at Boy Scout camp and our DD is at home working for the summer. We decided to go to Castaways since it'll be a new campground for us. We made the decision recently based on projected finances, and it's a good thing I called now - they only had 3 sites left! We're in site #99, an interior site. Does anyone have any idea if it's a nice site?
You will be just fine. If you look at the webcam, the site is smack dab in the middle of the picture...two sights to the left on the bathhouse.

Does anybody use one? I am looking to replace the grill I bought a few years ago. I have looked at the Weber Q series, but the basement compartment I store my grill in won't accomodate them.
