I'm not to smart also. I never thought about warping my frame. I figured saving a flat tire from slowly being distroyed or saving my springs by taking some weight of them made sence. I will still take some weight off my tires and springs.

RE: Out of state safety check
If you are registered in N.C. you need their safty check not Cali. AS far as other states I don't think they will care. I believe when you get back to N.C. you can get the safty check then.

I think the Red wood is one of the best looking campers on the road. The Black wood looked cheap to me. I believe the Redwood has the same gaurentee as crossroads. A very good one. I hope your problems are all solved.

Chucking is a forward and back movement. Porpoiseing is an up and down movement. The chucking can be caused by loose parts on your pro serries hitch. Loose pins on the head is one. Chucking can also be when you slow down or start up, you get a bang. Porpoiseing is at least to me low pin weight or banging on overload springs. The op said he had air bags and I said to much or to little air can be his problem. I usually run 25 lbs. on my trailer witch weighs about the same as his. When on concreat roads I will drop down to 20 to help soften the ride.

I f you can't touch your decal with wax how do you wax to the edge without touching? I wax it all. If decals can't take wax then they should not be there.

I would say you either have a 15,000 lb pro slider or your hitch is loose. If it is a pro series I would go back and get what you wanted.

If your wife is worried about taking a mirror off. Just tell if she parks that close she won't beable to open the door to get out. Oh and some states it is illegal to tow without tow mirrors.

Just plug in factory cord and then buy the cheaper adptors from wallmart. You can do it all for 30.00 dollars or less. This is what I do. I can carry my twist to lock 50 amp cord and save a ton of money. I think the twist to lock is a nice feature but the fittings are way to expensive.
