Cat's Front Legs Tremble Slightly - Any Idea Why?

Missy is a rescue and is now 12 years old. She has kidney disease, but has done well(remained stable)since we adopted her 2+ years ago. Lately I've noticed sometimes when she is standing, one or the other of her front legs trembles slightly. She walks fine, jumps when she wants to, and goes up and down stairs at will. There does not seem to be any tremor in her legs when she is lying down. Her appetite is good and she is a healthy weight. Does anyone have experience with a cat who has this issue?
Thanks in advance for any information.

Experience with Accu-check or One Touch Glucose Meters?

My insurance company is forcing me to change to either an Accu-check or One Touch Glucose Monitor, or pay significantly more for my current brand of test strips - I've used the same meter for 7+ years, so I know the new ones will be a lot different. I would like to hear from anyone who uses either of these meters regarding simplicity of use, correctness of readings, etc. I don't need a meter that talks to me or one that will do everything but let the cat out - just a simple to use, reliable, meter.
Thanks for any input.

RE: How long for Newfoundland

We have visited Newfoundland several times. In 2007 we stayed four months - May to September. Our last trip was 2011 - two months. There are usually plenty of icebergs and wildlife to see. There are lots of museums, but you can learn the most about the island by talking to the people who live there. They are the friendliest people you will ever meet. The weather the time of year you plan to travel is usually mild, maybe a little cool at night.
We have been to Labrador twice - once in September - had to stay an extra day because the wind got high and the ferry didn't run. The second time was in July, and the biting flies were awful.
We have RV'd over 100,000 miles, and our trips to Newfoundland, Nova Scotia, and PEI are our favorites.
Have a great trip.

Update on Replacement Air Conditioner Shrouds

A week or so ago I posted for recommendations for a place to purchase replacement a/c shrouds for my 2004 Kountry Star. I chose shrouds from Icondirect.com. They arrived in less than a week. The holes in the back of the shroud did not exactly line up with the holes for the old shroud, so I just drilled new ones. They come with a limited lifetime warranty and the company gave a 10% discount for buying two. I'm pleased with the service and the quality of the shrouds.

RE: I Need Buffalo Motif bedding

I don't know how to do a link, but wildwings.com has some buffalo-themed bedding and other items.

Where to Buy Replacement Air Conditioner Shrouds?

I'm going to replace the shrouds on my Duo-Therm Penguin a/c's - 2004 Newmar Kountry Star. Has anyone had experience with Icondirect.com? I searched the forum for prior posts and found several referrals to the company, but no postings about actual dealings with them.
Anybody bought from them or have a better idea of where to buy the shrouds?
Thanks

RE: Visiting Truro, NS in August...need help with campgrounds.

We just spent two nights at Scotia Pine Campground in Hilden NS, which is just south of Truro. It was a very pleasant stay for us. You can refer to RV Park Reviews to get other opinions.
Happy travels

RE: Health Insurance for Canadians travelling in the U.S.

We have the same issue in reverse. We are from the U.S. and are spending a couple of months in the Maritimes. A good place to start looking for coverage is Insuremytrip.com - they do have a Canadian website. It compares coverage and premiums for several different companies, and quotes are instant. One thing I had to watch for when comparing policies was whether pre-existing conditions were covered.
Good luck in your search for coverage and enjoy your trip.

RE: Ideas to Keep Cat from Going into MH Dash?

Thanks for all your input. I just stumbled across a show on Animal Planet about contrary cats. There is a product with a motion detector that is placed in the "don't go there" area. When the cat approaches, the sensor on the can is tripped and a non-harmful mist comes out with a whoosh of air. Safe for people, pets, furniture, etc. Think I'll give it a try. If it works, it would give me peace of mind that we could probably get the furkids out with us if a fire should break out.
Thanks again

Ideas to Keep Cat from Going into MH Dash?

I queried every combination of words I could think of on this forum, and could not come up with any prior postings on this issue. Junior the cat climbs from below (driver's side) into the dash when he gets stressed, generally by the vacuum cleaner. He comes out on his own when the vacuum goes away. My worry is that, in event of a fire in the MH, he might go there and there wouldn't be enough time to get him out - 14.5 lbs of scared cat is hard to handle!
I would appreciate hearing any ideas you have on how to successfully block that area to him.

RE: Miss Marble

I do hope Miss Marble is not developing renal disease. But if she does, she may continue to have a good life for a long time. Our Missy (age 11) was diagnosed 19 months ago with renal disease, and she is doing very well. Our vet put her on Azodyl and Science Diet k/d, and so far her numbers are unchanged - she's holding her own.
Miss Marble couldn't be in any better hands than yours. Prayers from Oklahoma.
