RE: Can't get slide out back in

my jamboree did this I looked under and found at end of motor on gearbox a rubber boot looked funny I took a knife and cut into it water poured out. I then removed it all the way spray W D Forty and tried out everything after a few minutes it was working. Got it home found everything rusted really badly . There is a lever to release brake, then look up you will find I think is a 5/8 or 3/4 nut this is the point to turn it will close it up. If you can't release brake loosen 3 screw at end of brake and ratchet the nut to close slide,

Again many campers sit for 5 months or more and a great deal more weight on them ,then a pick up has again apple and nuts.

RE: How do all the tanks work?

Remember a lot of bath rooms are hook to black tank. To check that run your bath room sink see which tanks is filling. My slide has kitchen sink is also hook to black tank. So to be sure check you may be surprised I was.

RE: Tire replacement at 9 years?

The company name is Samson 4 1/2 years with 30,000 plus miles on them no cracks on side walls. Look as good as new but reminder ,Its the load range, I seen a company name on friends class a winnie it was a 32 foot has the same size rim but 10 lug his tire are call Geo, Like I said its not the name it's the load range if you look hard you will find many company's. In my case a mom and pop shop found them for me. They had a couple in stock they took off my spare tire and mounted it and tried it on back to see clearance had plenty.

RE: Toadless C Owners, Do You Feel Limited?

I live in the Smokeys why did you need to unhook your toad? I have friends with TT and Fiver's they don't do better then 8 MPG. My V10 never has a problem here in Mnts. With my toad 8 to 8 1/2 MPG with toad my scan gage says that, not mickey mouse math. As far as towing with toad I drop by a .05 not enough to count.

RE: Tire replacement at 9 years?

IMO all E range is that pretty much the same. When cutaways are shipped to whom ever, They will add a great deal of weight more so with slides. Heck they even rubber stems on steel wheels remember they are only rated at 55 PSI. C Coaches are close to being overweight after all tanks, fuel, water, all toys, camping equipment and anything else inside. Then you hear of the six year rule on tires, why maybe the tire are feeling the strain right from day 1. Then people post about damage to under neath,Propane line rip out. I was also in this boat did a lot of research and found G rate was the way to go yes it rides a little harder and yes I needed to go to 235-85-16 but yes it's a real truck tire, not a Light truck tire. Yes I did have to look more so to find what I wanted it took a little patience now I keep booking down the road not worrying when the next shoe will drop.

RE: Toadless C Owners, Do You Feel Limited?

There is another side what ever you get for MPG on you coach, my 3 cylinder Geo metro gets 40 MPG no brain drain here. Saves money to do other things I really hate giving money the crooked oil company's and there buddy's.

RE: Tire pressure on a four winds?

Not really if you run max air pressure it allows for max weight you haul. But remember weighting the coach is best way to know for sure.
