Does Awesome harm the trailer?

I finally pulled out the "Awesome" I bought a while back at the dollar store and used it on the front of my trailer. I put some elbow grease into it and did the whole front and those black streaks vanaished. I came back with some spray on wax and the front is now looking good. I dont know if that product harms the finish?

RE: Just relized my 4 new tires dont match!

Congrats on the tag! I did some bull hunting north of Flag in Unit 7. Got lost almost ran out of gas, didn't get an elk either. Rough country except for the Lockett Meadow area (beautiful).
Also did cow in 6A. Little nicer (easier) hunting if you ask me. We stuck between Mormon Lake and Strawberry if I remember correctly. Ended up getting a cow. I honestly don't remember where we were now, I would have to drive the road to remember it. Good luck!
Thanks. Im hoping no issues getting the trailer into 6a. I think were going to Mormon Lake area but no idea where. Should be a great camp trip and hunt for the kids. We may need lots of ice chests???

RE: Just relized my 4 new tires dont match!

If the rims will hold the pressure, why not go with the E rated tires?
Now I think I should? How would I know if the rims will work? Seem to be now???

Just relized my 4 new tires dont match!

I bought my 4 new trailer tires from Americas Tire about 2 months ago. I took two at a time down there so I didnt have to take the trailer down. I brought first two down and next day I took the other two down. I was out checking air presure today and relized I had two E rated and two D rated tires. I noticed by the max air presure was different. I should have noticed sooner but didnt. I called them up and no problem, I am taking my trailer down tomorrow for the two new tires. Leaving the D 8ply tires on it. Not a huge deal and still a fan of America Tire...

RE: Underbelly material?

I would use a piece of good quality tarpaulin and Gorilla Tape.
I have never used Gorilla Tape. Used Gorilla glue and if you dont clean it up its permanent? I guess now that you mention it that material is nothing more than a regular blue tarp? Maybe its different I dont know?
Thanks

Underbelly material?

What is that black mesh type material called that underlines the underbelly of at least my toy hauler? I dont know how else to describe it. When I blew a tire it ripped a hole in it and now you can see insulation and raw plywood. Also where would I buy that material and how would I go about patching a large hole in it?
Thanks

RE: Shopping for tires...today!

I am happy with Americas Tire. I just bought 4 Greenball trailer tires from them for less than 100.00 each with warranty and I think free rotation.

RE: Following Forum advice -Do you do it?

I make my own discisions but advice from others here gives my a place to start to begin my research. If you go to any product reviews you will see everything from hate it to love it, so how do you really know unless you tried it yourself. Dont know if I make any since? I really do consider all you here professionals though....

RE: A topic that has been beaten to death! TIRES....

Well I put new tires on the trailer. After looking at all my options I went with Greenball st tires with warranty and $13.00 each for free replacement or repair and lifetime free balance. I worked a deal and total price was under $500.00. I was told that these tires out perform the marathon and the carlisle tires. Thanks again for all the great info

I know my truck had the light on and it was like 180.00 for a new abs wheel sensor at the dodge dealer.

A topic that has been beaten to death! TIRES....

Ok I just need a final opinion on new tires for my 21 ft toyhauler 6100 dry weight. I use the trailer about 8-10 times a year in our local deserts and beaches. Tires that are on there now are ST 225 75 r15 D. They are about 4 1/2 years old and I had a tire seperation on the right rear last trip.
I dont have a lot of money to spend so I cant get the best they make. I think I want to stick with whats on there now as far as size and ST tire. Some say LT?
We called a major tire shop in our area that my buddy knows the owner of and he said his price for an ST tire is 85.00 each plus 12.oo to mount and balance. I forgot the name, something like Goodwin or similar?
My other option is America Tire who said they only really sale the Greenball tire which they said is a good trailer tire and those were 98.00 each. These tires Any final thoughts before I spend some money I dont really have right now?
Thanks
