First trip of the season

The DW, the girls, and I took a trip over to Spokane, Washington. For a couple of days at Riverside State Park.

No signal to tv.

I recently installed a small digital TV in our camper and replaced the head of the antenna with a Jack antenna head. When I tried to use the TV today I got a "no signal" message on the screen. Does anyone have any suggestions on what might be wrong.
Thanks, Clint

RE: propane tank question

Hi,
Do you have a BBQ? Can the tank from it fit into the compartment on your camper? Or is the place it mounts require all that stuff on the top of the tank to hold it in place?
My suggestion is take along the BBQ tank if you can use it, they sell those at Home Depot around $40 or Costco for $27. It might cost $20 to get your tank re-certified. I think they fill them with nitrogen and leak check them at some very high pressure (say 300+ PSI) or test the sidewalls for thickness with a gauge that measures the sidewalls with electronics - looks like a sona gram machine, but smaller and portable. It can tell if there is rust on the inside of the steel tank, and tell the operator the steel thickness.
Fred.
Our local Costco fills propane tanks for $10.39.

RE: Atwood electric jack heads

Thank you. It looks like you can buy a set of complete jacks cheaper than the replacement heads.

RE: Otto Step

Also, if you check out the Glow Step specs on the Torklift website you will see that the 5 step set up is rated for 250 lbs. I think you will be much better off going with a full set of steps for you and the dogs. You can also add a Glow Guide system for added "people" assistance.
One thing having never used them, would you consider the 250lb rating being "safe"? I personally would rather go with the glowstep but the rating has me concerned. I know MelloMike went with a 4-step and ended up having to add another step.
The steps are most likely rated for much more than 250 pounds. I would think as long as you did not bounce up and down on them they will probably be just fine.
Just a thought, Clint

Atwood electric jack heads

I think it's possible but, just checking. Is it possible to add electric heads to non-electric atwood jacks? If so does anyone no where to buy them?

Our Eagle Cap was generator ready but, did not come with one. We used the space for 2-6 volt batteries.
