RE: Seat covers?

Yeah, thanks. I know that, just trying to find out if anyone has firsthand experience with them.

Seat covers?

Anybody ever get Ruff Tuff seat covers for their TV? I just ordered some from Cabelas and got them a couple days ago. Man, I am totally bummed. The so-called saddle blanket is actually a rough mesh and kind of thin. It's not blanket material at all. I installed the back seat and it looks like ****. There are straps, strings and snaps that are supposed to provide a custom fit and I would say it's far from it. They are supposed to be custom fit per vehicle and seat layout, so I have to think I'm doing something wrong. Their website instruction is nearly useless as it's all text with no pictures to show you what the finished installation should look like. I got them because the kids tend to make a mess in the back on long trips and to provide protection, but it makes the interior look worse than it is and they are little protection. Anyone install these and have any advice? I'm ready to return them, but I'm wondering if maybe my expectations are too high.

RE: POLL: WOULD YOU BUY THE SAME TRUCK AGAIN

YES! Love it. And no, I don't care what anyone says. Heard it all and it's a wonder I'm still alive.

RE: Oil changes - DIESEL ONLY

I bought the Ford Truck coupon book. $75 for semi-synthetic and a new filter. I'll let them do it for that.

RE: Finding a campground along an interstate?

We use Delorme Street Atlas with the overlays from RV Directions. They are quite extensive and have datasets for all KOA, CC, PA, GSAM,Top rated, state and many other types of RV parks. Together with the built in gas station listings, Street Atlas provides everything we need.

Another vote for fresh cab.

x2. The guy next to me on the storage lot pulled 15 mice out of his rig using glue boards last season. I've had none and I'm 4 feet away.

RE: Ford survey

2005, bought it a year old. 54,000 miles and it's my daily driver. ~20K miles towing, mostly in the mountains. Not a single repair on my Oasis report. Nothing but maintenance and I do it religiously. I did the EGR delete and flushed the cooling system. That's all. Get ready for the Dodge boys. They'll be here in a minute.:)

RE: Front Roof Air Help in Colorado Springs

I've had good luck with Dee's RV. They are on Sinton Road off Filmore and I-25. Eric is very knowledgeable and helpful. He spent nearly an hour on the phone with me when I had a water heater problem, free of charge. Worth a call to find out if they can help you -(719) 634-7606.
