RE: Bedroom Slide Won't Open

Greatful Dad....You didn't say if you found the Power Boards. They are under the bed right behind AC circut breakers. They supply the high current switching between forward and reverse for motors. Mine were not labled so if you switch wire plugs on circut boards be aware that any of the slides will move. They have a 30Amp bussmen type fuse on them. I can not get to the bedroom slide motor in mine might be a good idea to check for Voltage getting there. The motor its self has a thermal circut breaker that will reset if you let it cool off. If thermal is hung open maybe a gentle rap with small mallet might reset it. There is a Discovery Owners Assoc. on line. You have to join but they are very helpful and you can do a search looking for problems and solutions.

RE: Bedroom Slide Won't Open

On my 2002 there are 2 power boards under bed, behind AC panel. Fuse blew. can also try swapping connectors should show if fuse or board is blown. Also make sure the spring loaded door beside sliding mirrors closet doors hasn't sprung open. This happened to me and would not let slide go out.
P.S. I usually run slides with Generator running, this gives a tad more voltage to the motor.

RE: Looking for a Compact Carpet Cleaner machine for RV

We use a Bissell model 2080-1. It's a little large about the size of a/an sweeper. The front is only ten inches wide and fits into tight spots. Wife likes that it has rotating brush. Two tanks, one clean and one dirty. Not sure, think we got it at BJ's or CostCo.

RE: What is the best tow car for a Class A

Jonlin,,,,You are going to get a lot of answers to this question, are you going to tow 4 down(car on it's own wheels) or a Tow Dolly. A tow dolly with brakes would be a solution to tow your present car if it's front wheel drive. If you purchase a car to tow 4 down(per manufacturer) you will need a base plate to attach to the car and a tow bar to connect to the RV. You will also need a/an brake set up for the towed car. A limiting factor will be how much your RV is rated to tow either way.

RE: Battery problem or electrical problem?

In my 2002 Alternator charges both house and coach. Generator charges both house and coach. Shore power charges both house and coach. When My Alternator went bad, ran generator to charge coach set and it kept motor running till I limped to help.

RE: Gunky Shower Drain

Had to stop wife using one kind of Dove shower soap. It would clog the drain weekly. If your vent pipe has fallen into the tank that gives a slow drain too. Usually leave grey tank open till I'm gonna dump the black tank. Then close grey for one shower to flush stinky slinky with after dumping the black tank.

RE: Tolls by axle.

New Jersey lets you into the state free. They want an arm and a leg befor they'll let you leave.. ;-) The Delaware turnpike on Rt 95 is another expensive toll. Thanks all who replied, I though you could lift the Tag when turning sharply. I have been educated, now if I could only spell.

Tolls by axle.

Had a thought. Those with Tag Axles towing, going through an EZPass lane would be counted the same as a tractor trailer. I.E. five axles. If the tag was lifted up so as not to triger the strip would it reduce toll charged? It erks me to be charged so much more towing the toad, then if we went through sepperetly.
