RE: Coach-net

I have nothing but positive things to say about Coach-net. Recently, I had an Injector Pump go out, called coach-net and they had a wrecker at my location within a reasonable time, found a repair facility, and was in constant contact making sure everything was okay. Can't say enough good things about their superb service.

RE: Generator will not stay running?

Had the same problem with my Onan 7500 Quiet Diesel. Changed the fuel filter and the problem was corrected.

RE: When is this ridiculous price of diesel coming down?

As long as speculators are playing the game, nothing will change.

RE: How NOT to advertise...

I would call that smart marketing. Didn't it generate interest here on the forum? Imagine how may phone calls he probably received asking for specifics.

RE: Easy Care Extended Warranty Opinions

Usually dealers double the cost of the plan. Easy profit margin for the selling dealer.

RE: Would you call?

If the product fits your needs an interest, call. You can always say "No" if they ask for information your not prepared to give. You never know you might be missing a great deal. Anyway, agree with the previous post that it eliminates the "Tire Kickers".

RE: How to know how much "stuff" you have in the MH

Isn't it amazing, when starting RVing you purchase stuff you think is needed. When you purchase the second RV your amazed at how much stuff has accumulated throughout the RV. When you decide to get rid of stuff that hasn't been used, the better half states that "Are you sure, we might need it later", then you return it to it's rightful place in the RV. After all, if the better half isn't happy, then no one is happy.

RE: Dealer Allowing Test Drives of Sold MH

After your reply, the dealer was definetly wrong in allowing anyone to walk through or drive the coach. Talk with management an tell them your feelings. After I picked up the coach, all markings of the dealership would be removed.

RE: Dealer Allowing Test Drives of Sold MH

A few questions: 1. Has financing been approved or if paying cash has arrangements been made for the transfer of money to the dealership. If neither of these actions has been completed, then the coach is still belongs to the dealership. 2. If financing has been finalized, when are you going to pick up the coach? Until then the Dealer has his money tied up with a new coach setting at his dealership.

RE: Norcold 4 door refrigerator

Let's see, after the 1st recall everything worked great. After the second recall the module was defective an had to be replaced. The replaced module will not allow the unit to automatically switch from electric to gas. Be interested to find out reason as local techs are confused.

RE: Stuff!

I have a rule, if we haven't used it in 6 months then it is not needed in the MH. Really makes for some interesting yard sales.

RE: November 22, 1963 - Do you remember it?

I was in my 10th day of Basic Training at Lackland AFB, TX. We were going into the Green Monster to select (to be told) what AF Specialties we were choosing. Needless to say, we had alot of days that were not considered training days so basic was extended.

RE: Motorhome requirements in Texas

There are many interpretation of the law requiring an indoresement to your drivers license in the State of Texas. Real bottom line, if your rig weighs over 26,000 you need a Class B license. If it has Air Brakes you need an Air Brake indorsement.

RE: Impeding the flow of traffic.

Let's see, driving in the right lane you have to put up with the 4 wheelers that don't bother to look before they pull on the Interstate, driving in the middle lane your impeding truckers, driving in the fast (passing lane) your breaking the law. Hmmmmm, where are you suppose to drive an feel safe? I know, the access road. Just a little bit of sarcasm. By the way, the best thing about traffic in Austin in the toll road around it.
