RE: Best Buy sales gimick...... or not?

I've bought and returned stuff to Best Buys and never had a problem. I have also been impressed with some in their "geek squad's" critical thinking skills...they are often so far beyond my "tech critical thinking skills" that I do become frustrated, but I must admit they understand far better than I do.
And, yes, they are also having many store closures...just like many other retail stores...it could very well be just a sign of the economy and a change in the way people are shopping as online is a great convenience.
Avoid like the plague??? Isn't that a bit of a strong statement? Maybe you have had a problem with their geek squad but don't overlook the fact that some people have had good luck and perhaps the problem with your visit was due to your critical thinking skills.

Would you trade?

Would anyone trade a small, high quality, class C or B (Lazy Daze/Born Free/Dynamax etc)
for a high quality, full time fifth wheel? (New Horizon)

Small C opinions

Want to come out of 07 New Horizon fifth wheel and buy small ( under 25) class C with cabover bed. Want newer unit. Any suggestions? Any one traveling in small Coachman Freedom? Want good quality but small.

Consignments?

Having followed the winter sun and ending up in Yuma every time, we are thinking perhaps we will buy a park model so we don't have to tow or drive the 3500 dually once we get here.
Also considered leaving the New Horizon fiver but always get differing opinions on this option. Some say it will destroy the NH some say not. We still have a truck camper for traveling trips so not having the fiver would not stop us from traveling when we want. We do live in Indiana so it is quite a haul to Yuma.
Now, the question. Have any New Horizon owners taken your unit and consigned it at the New Horizon factory in Junction City, Kansas? Or has anyone who owns a fiver used the consignment through PPL in Houston, Tx? Any luck in this economic climate?
We are still unsure at this time because we do love the fiver but we know we will be returning here to Yuma because of the perfection on the weather. It doesn't look like the gas will get any cheaper and only higher so much as I hate to say it, the park models are looking a bit better. We would still be ahead to pay yearly rent over plates (Indiana high plate) and insurance and gas to tow. I'm sure others have been in this spot, any recommendations?
