RE: Okanagan Vs. Adventurer?

I can only comment I my 2007 10T Adventurer ,
Knock on wood, I have not had any issues everything is holding together very well , I use it about 30 to 40 nights a year.
Not super fancy, but nicely finished and with most options.
I did have a question a few years back and called the Manufacturer and they were very helpful.
Hope this helps .

RE: Tire pressure

I run 80 psi I my tires all the time. Would estimate about 1/2 my driving is empty, other half pulling or hauling with 1500 - 2500 in the bed. Tires wear even and I usually get 50k miles from a set with 10k mile rotation.
Reason I leave mine up is I never know when I will be working the truck so want the tires ready.
That is my issue , never really sure when I am going and having a dually it is a little bit pita to air up and then down. Not a major issue but if I am not totally distroying things I think I will just stay at 70 in front and 75 in back and then maybe come winter I will back them down a little..
Want to thank everyone for your thoughts and info ...

RE: TC tie downs questions

I have only had one T/C and started with TL and fastguns , so I can not compare , but I can tell you that they work very well and are easy to put on and take off.

Tire pressure

Was wondering if there was any down side to leaving the tire pressure up when the T/C is off the truck? I realize that the ride is not as soft , but was thinking more in line with tire wear and stuff like that?

RE: Taking Camper off Truck? Easy? Difficult?

I am still fairly new to the TC world. I have only had my TC for about 18 months. I have taken 20 trips in the TC and I have taken the Camper off on 17 of those trips. I usually have a boat in tow and would much rather launch a boat withthe camper off. In addition after a long day of fishing or hiking , it is nice to have the site all set up for our return .
I find it really easy to do, just take your time and learn to do it by yourself. I know this sounds crazy but I load/unload my camper in about 10 mins by myself, more like 20 to 30 if someone wants to help. It really comes down to knowing your alignment points and I know them better than someone trying to help.
Best advise for learning is something I learned from this site. I could not find the link to give appropriate credit.
But here it is :
Lower your drivers seat all the way back, and back-up under the camper looking over your left shoulder , this makes it a piece of cake. hope this helps.

RE: TC revival ?

In the last week I have seen 6 TC's on the highways and byways around my small town , not together, at different times . There is lots of camping in the area as it is the southern end of the White Mountains but I have gone a whole summer in the past without seeing one. It's either a trend or I've become more observant .
One of the TC's might have been me ,, I was all over the southern end of the White Mountains ,, Had a great time , you live in a beautiful place.

propane regulator question

Hello all,
I have a multi-tank propane regulator , not switchable just two tank hose inputs.
Two questions: 2nd question most important
1) Do most run both tanks open or run one tank at a time?
2) In the center of the regulator, there is a Black Plastic screw plug. Should this be installed or left out ? What is it ?
Thanks for any and all help.
