RE: Holiday park on the Eastern Shore in Maryland

http://rvparkreviews.com/regions/Maryland/Greensboro.html
Please read the reviews. We camped there many times over the years but several years ago, we camped there in October and I went to plug into the 110 outlet in the electrical box only to find out that it would not work. Called the office and the owner told me that lightning had hit it and he was not going to spend $90.00 to fix it. There is no sewer hookups and the electrical outlets need updating. I do think that you need to judge the campground for yourself as each person have different opinions and likes and dislikes. I would be interested in what your opinion is after you camp there.

RE: Timonium MD RV Show

Who will be attending the RV show in Timonium Md this weekend? We are planning on attending this Saturday. Not planning on purchasing anything but just wanting to get out of the house(cabin fever).
Why don't you just hook up the camper and join us @ Old Mill Stream we will be there this weekend and they have plenty of sites!!!!!!!!!!
Would love to but have the trailer all winterized and put to be for the winter. Keep in touch with where you will be camping this year.

RE: Bar harbor RV resort in Abingdon MD ???

We were there several times last year. If there is alot of rain, at high tide, the water begins to flood the sites near the river. The roads surrounding the bathroom become flooded. Beautiful view though.

RE: Maryland Campers

I live in Elkton, MD and like Elk Neck State Park. The North East loop has full hook up which is unusual for MD State Campgrounds.

RE: delaware beaches, jellystone park

Hello buskirk and Ringer, have you guys tried Island Resort CG yet? Its closer to Ocean City MD and Assateague but perfect for empty nesters. Our favorite in the area.
Haven't been there this year but we do enjoy the park. Kick back and relax. Not sure if we will get down there this year. In the past we stayed at the park since my daughter attended Salisbury University and would stay there while visiting her.

RE: delaware beaches, jellystone park

We have camped here many times when it was Cedar Creek. It started out as a concept in phases, seasonals and then roll out to weekenders. It did not pan out as not many people signed up to be seasonals. Since the concept did not pan out and the marketing failed, the owners chose the next option, go to Yogi. This appealed to the younger group with children thus more profits. When signing up with a franchise, the owners had to abide by Yogi's rules. They built cabins and had to put down stone at each camp site, rent peddal bikes, golf carts, add Yogi stuff in the camp store. The problem is that by adding stone they did it in a hap hazzard manner. This caused dragging of the bumpers when entering or exiting. We do not have childeren so this is not the ideal campgroud for us and have only been there one time this season. In the past we would go 3 to 4 times per season. Overall, I think that it is worth a try and form your own opinion.

RE: Rockwood Signature Ultra Light

I purchased a 2011 ROCKWOOD SIGNATURE ULTRA LITE 8314BSS last year and have have very few problems. The Concertone system does have a hum when watching a movie and have learned to live with it. I have been very satisfied with the trailer. Tow it with a 2004 2500HD Silverado truck with a 6.0L engine. Tows wonderfully.

RE: Bar Harbor Rv Park - Maryland

Went there the first time this year the weekend of May 13. Let's just say that there are alot of seasonals. We backed up to the river, beatiful view but the river overflowed the pilings and there was about 2-3 inches of water on the road by our TT. This is expected since they are close to the water. Going back in August to give it a try again. Probably if someone had about $1 million to fix it up it would be brought up to date. Bathroom has alot to be desired. Not alot around the area to do for kids. It is a short distance to Baltimore, check out the Innner Harbor area.
