RE: Rhino Line Rv Roof

I have learned to never lean or rely on a warranty, but the guy that posted in the class A section says that when he got it done they informed him that it had a lifetime warranty.

RE: Rhino Line Rv Roof

Just did a little searching around the forum and found that the class A guys are already keen to this. One guy was quoted $1800 for a 26' coach. Doesn't seem bad as it comes with a lifetime warranty (which doesn't mean a lot to us weekend warrior guys!)

RE: The BEST grill add-on for your TH

Weber Kettle for me.
Charcoal is the only way to BBQ.
I agree! I have a stove if I want to use gas. I hate bbq'ing with gas! Charcoal only (mesquite preferred)!

Rhino Line Rv Roof

So I saw a commercial for La Mesa rv (I could be wrong about which dealer), but they mentioned something about rhino lining your roof and never having to worry about it again. Has anyone heard of this, or know anything about it??

Toy Hauler Cover

I'm looking to help prevent some years of sun abuse on my hauler. I figured I might as well get a cover for it as I'm sure it can only help. I was wondering who makes a good quality cover. I have an '09 Weekend warrior fs2500. I dont want to buy a cover only to have it falling apart from the weather in a year. I'm in san diego, so it will mostly be battered with sun, however there is the freak storm every once in a while with heavy winds and rain. Any advice would be great! Thanks

RE: WW fuel station key

My '09 WW has 3 keys. One for the door/deadbolt, one for storage compartments, and one for gas fill/water fill I believe.

RE: Deep cycle battery recomendations

John,
Optima batteries are good batteries in the right application. RV house batteries is not one of them. The energy density of a Optima is about the worst there is. Its volume is more than 25% air. They are extremely resistant to vibration damage and are just the thing for something that is bouncing across unimprove terrain like a Jeep. Dollar for dollar it is hard to beat plain old flooded lead acid golf cart type 6v batteries in pairs. AGM's are nice but for the difference in cost between them and flooded lead acid batteries the advantages are not out weighted by their nearly double the price. Trojan is a good brand but pretty high priced considering folks are getting great life out of Sam's Club GC batteries for half the price of a Trojan. If you had to choose two Trojan 6v's or four Sams Club 6v's for nearly the same money you would be crazy to buy the Trojans. JMHO (-:
Jim
I agree with you, the predicament came with needing batteries in a hurry, and the only deep cycle Pep boys had that would fit in my battery boxes were optimas. I would have loved to spend that money on other stuff, trust me! But I'm happy with them and when I get to the desert, my buddy has a GIANT outdoor stereo he made that I hook to one of them and it runs it like a champ all day and night without needing a kick from the genny. (Yes we make sure we are far from other campers!) Most of the time :) Did I overspend, of course. But ya live and ya learn! I appreciate the info though!

RE: Deep cycle battery recomendations

I decided to go all out and got optimas. Probably spent way more then I had to, but can't say a bad thing about them!

RE: Rolling Thunder 5er With Balcony

am I missing something or is the only way to get inside by lowering the ramp or crawling over the patio bars?
Haha There's a door in front of the slide
Here's the link that shows how the country coach balcony works, not sure about the rolling thunder

Rolling Thunder 5er With Balcony

Was browsing the other day and came across the Open Range Rolling Thunder. I started checking out their floorplans and saw an option for a balcony. Sure enough, this thing has a balcony, and not an improvised one with the ramp door. The only other time I have seen this is on a Country Coach class A, and we wont even discuss the price of that thing! I'm not sure if this has already been done in the TT market, and if it hasn't, I'm glad to see people coming out with new stuff in the toy hauler market first! The floorplan isn't the greatest, and the garage probably wouldn't work for a lot of us, but its a step in the right direction!

RE: New Campground Ride

Good thing it's a UTV! Guess you'll be fine at no "ATV" parks! If you guys want to be technical, take that technicality! Give the guy a break everyone! It's not like he is going to sit outside your RV doing donuts! It's just to go from point A to point B! I, like you, am always looking for loop holes and a way to stick it to grouchy people! Good job dundonelt!
