RE: Gas Mileage drop with a Truck Camper - How much?

I average 10 MPG Empty and 10 MPG loaded = no change for me.
Somehow DW squeezes 14 out of it empty - I have yet to figure out how? I think it's creative arithmetic if you ask me.

RE: Fall 2011 Northeast PA / Ohio Valley Truck Camper Rally

A) I hope everyone has a safe trip - we'll be coming in on Friday (morning I hope)
B) Mikee - don't worry, we're bringing our appetites!
C) Did someone say bluegrass??????????? That'd be sweet!
I believe all PA highways are open again (aside from the usual PENDOT construction). Most secondary's are open, however there are still several backroads/tertiary state roads that are missing one lane or more.
You can try pa511.com for road conditions, but for roads closed due to the flooding, there's a more comprehensive list at www.wnep.com (select road closings on the right side).

RE: Shadow Lite TC

I have to say we're with Derril on this one. Good solid product, a reasonable price, and a manufacturer that will go well out of their way for you (Derril personally drove about 500 miles to deliver it to a local RV dealer for us).
We racked up 2,200 Miles on the road in June thru 5 states over 2 weeks, 3 adults and 1 child were no trouble with the dinette bunk. Not to mention a week in July with the canoe on the racks Derril added for us on top and one week in August where my daughter got to use "her" personal bunk again.

RE: Tonneau Covers on a Ford F350 DRW

I used a LeBra Lo Profile that mounted nearly flush with the bedrails and only protruded about 1/4" or so into the truck bed for the longest time. Just had to remove the cover and the bows and T/C or even cap would go on with no troubles.
