RE: 5th Wheel Hitch ?

Smitty Do you currently have a Slider Hitch? I currently have a Huskey 16k square tube slider and it is so noisy I can stand it and I'm planning on going with the Curt round tube slider 18K. Just something to think about. Let know what you end up going with.

RE: lippert level up system

ZOSO yes it is extremely stable. Even in medium to heavy wind it doesnt move. I really like the system, I just dont think it works exactly like it is advertised or I'm doing something wrong that even the factory cant make sense of.

RE: lippert level up system

When I press the up button and hold it until trailer is lifted from hitch. Pull TV away. Then press autolevel button and it levels like it should. Front needs to come down to level, then the center jacks and then the rears. So I will have to test the factory suggestions in a couple of weeks. Thanks for all your replies.

RE: lippert level up system

cherry I tried the up arrow and even watched the video on my laptop while I was trying to figure it out. Lippert rep. told me if they put all the info on the CD or manuel he would be out of a job. Mine is in storage so I cant check for a while either.

lippert level up system

In the tutorial CD and Manual it shows the rehook procedure, by pushing the right and left arrow buttons at the same time. then the front of the trailer will raise to the point where you disconnected from tow vehicle. When I do this I get an error message the read "function disabled" I called lippert and they stated that you have to raise the front just off level for this auto rehook function to work. Is this true? I dont want to put undue stress or tension on the other 4 legs if not necessary. Anyone that may be able to shed some light on this.

quick cleaning of 5vr

we have a full body paint rig and where we have to store it,it gets alittle dusty. Then the other day we had very light sprinkles of rain. My question is what do ya'll use/do to quick clean up without getting out the water hose soap and brush. I was thinking something like a California Duster, Thoughts?

RE: keystone cougar, black water pull, need help?

We had a similar problem only reversed. Black stuck part way open. Didnt know until I went to drain some gray in a bucket and lets just say it wasnt really gray. We went to campground dump station and move fast to get the hose on. then put a hose on the flusher port and moved the valve handle in and out for an hour. It finally sealed back up. We were lucky knowone else was at the dump station. Not alot of fun. Cutting a hole in the underbelly can be some guess work if you dont know exactly where the valve is located. GOOD LUCK and let us know how it turns out.

RE: Fordman and your Landmark Grand Canyon

We took delivery of our 2012 Landmark San Antonio 2 weeks ago and we are in heaven with this unit. What a step up from our 2010 keystone Outback 282FE. And to top it all off we got roughly 33% off MSRP.:D

Shocks

Hello It's time to replace my shocks on my 2005 Dodge2500 4X4 with CTD. Just wondering what others have installed and are you happy with them. I was thinking about the Rancho 9000 with the adjusteables in the rear. Thoughts? I'm open to suggestions.

Rear Receiver Hitch

Hi.. I not sure if this is the right place for this so please let me know if it would be better suited somewhere else. 2012 San Antonio has the plates coming down on each side frame rail in the rear, it looks like a great place for a receiver hitch. Has anyone installed one on these plates? I WILL NOT be towing anything I just want it for a bike rack or a small cargo basket. Any thought or recommendations? I see some once that were adjustable and I cant seem to locate them again. Thanks David

New BABY is home

Well we just picked up our 2012 Heartland Landmark San Antonio boy oh boy what a beautiful rig and LOOOONG. It sure didnt seem that long at the RV show but I checked vin# and yep its the one we bought. Now it the pain staking task of setting it all up. It's fun but DW sure is making it expensive. Anyway I will post some pics over the weekend if I can figure out how to do it. Tech challenged :h
