refridgerator on propane
I have only got our fridge to operate on gas one time, and that was when the tank had just been filled. The other times I have tried, it sounds as if it is lighting, but does not stay lit. I would like to start it on gas so that when we leave the storage area it will be cooling while we are on the road. We have had our fifth wheel for 3 years, but the fridge has only worked that one time on gas. Does anyone else have this problem, and am I doing something wrong?
Any ideas would be appreciated, and thanks in advance for any help.
I would only use the gas setting for trips close by, not long trips where we would have to stop for diesel.

RE: bleach to sanitize holding tanks
If you are talking about the fresh water tank, bleach is good. If you are talking about gray and black tanks, bleach is bad.

I have not stayed there, but I have been through Holiday Park and visited friends camped there. There are sites on both loops that are close to water. There is a site numbered 83 that is right on the water and also a stones throw from a boat ramp.

I have a NU-WA DA so I know you will really enjoy your unit. The people where you are picking it up will show and help you hook it up, and as for towing it, just take your time and you should not have any problems. Remember the fifth wheel does not track like a tow behind trailer, it will cut the corners more, so make your turns a little wider. Make sure they do a good, thurough pre-check. Test everything and ask lots of questions. Good luck and have fun!

Tree Tops in Arlington is close to anything they might need, and there is a handytran bus service that will pick them up and take them anywhere and return them when they are ready to go home.

Lake Whitney area has a nice park, Lake Benbrook has one, and Glen Rose has Tres Rios and the dinosaur tracks are in that area.
