RE: outside tv

I keep mine stored on the bed until we arrive at our destination , put in cargo bay until we get ready to leave . http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v336/bigdaddy51200/forumpic/P1010162.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v336/bigdaddy51200/forumpic/P1010163.jpg

RE: Just ordered a Sandpiper

We do have a diesel truck, when we traded our Ram 1500, We actually custom built the new truck too, with the gear ratio that could tow the most anticpating that in a few years we would have a 5th wheel & now we do! I actually sat in a Sierra & a Sandpiper at the show with the RL layout, they are very nice also! And we did get the 2nd a/c. A friend of ours has a 5th wheel & only has 1 a/c & wishes he had 2, says it gets hot with just 1! Here are the options we got (that I can remember @ the moment without looking @ our build sheet): 2nd a/c, gen. prep., corian counters, stone fireplace, pull down kitchen faucet, queen bed (we had a queen in the TT & already have sheets/comforter etc. so didn't make sense to get a king & have to buy all new stuff when king things are expensive), leather lazy boys & the wood look flooring. I can't wait to see it, I hope it's everything I have imagined!!! Again congrats on the new trailer , can't wait to see pic's of it !! Sounds like you have all the basis covered . Ours came with a serta dreamscape mattress but it sucks . We got a 3 inch memory foam and put on top of that , it is now very nice :) I have done many upgrades to ours since we got because we use our camper to Camp & Tailgate at football games . If I can be of any help just shoot me a PM . Bigdaddy51200

RE: Just ordered a Sandpiper

I have a 2011 Sierra 356RL and it is close to what you have ordered . The Sierra and Sandpiper are the same trailers with a different name on the outside that's it . I hope you ordered the second A/C in the bedroom , if not you will wish you had . I have had just a few minor problems with mine (dealer took care of all ) , we really love ours . I would recommend having a DRW drive diesel truck , you will be over 13,000 pounds when you get all of your stuff in it . again please post pictures when you get it in . here are some of mine : http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v336/bigdaddy51200/My%20New%202011%20Sierra%20356RL%205th%20Wheel/IMG_0330.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v336/bigdaddy51200/My%20New%202011%20Sierra%20356RL%205th%20Wheel/IMG_0312-1.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v336/bigdaddy51200/My%20New%202011%20Sierra%20356RL%205th%20Wheel/IMG_0314.jpg

50-Amp RV Box Adapter

can this be used at camp sites where they have a 30amp & 20 Amp to make a 50 amp connection ? I know it says it has 2 30amp connectors on it but you can just put a 20 amp adapter on one of those , right ? This would be great if I can use as most camps around here don't have 50 amp but most have a 30 & 20 . 50-Amp RV Box Adapter

RE: Sandpiper 5th wheel

I have 2011 Sierra 356RL (same as sandpiper) you will need more truck to pull it . I had a 2001 V10 F250 and found out real quick it was not enough . I traded it for for a 2004 Dodge DRW 3500 and it handles it just fine . I really love the trailer , it has plenty of room and is a good fit for us . Yes I have had a few minor things to get taken care of but over all I am extremely happy with it . I got the one with the dark cherry wood work and espresso color scheme 2012 colors on a 2011 , again very pleased . If you go with this model , GET THE SECOND AC or you will bake in the bedroom , glad I got !!!

RE: What is the max size 5er for standard 1ton Dually?

I have a 2004 dodge ram DRW auto , you can pretty much pull any trailer you want under 16,000 pounds GW .
