Yes, some people use both at the same time.
1/3 or 2/3 ???? Are you looking at the idiot light panel? Put a meter on the battery and measure the voltage.

My flagpole is a 10' piece of 3/4" PVC pipe attached to my ladder. Been using it for years with a single 3 x 5 flag with no problems.

RE: Small trailer-some might call a Teardrop

...Beemerphile, I had not a clue those A frame styles even existed, this trailer idea is new and unusual for us. Does it tow well, any idea of weight, and do you stand up inside? Now that I am retired, its time to enjoy life. :)
Mine is a Sport which is the next to the smallest. It is over 7' ceiling height in the area where you move around. They arrange all the cabinets and furniture around the outer areas where the ceiling is lower.
You might be interested in the inside/outside stoves. Many trailer manufacturers offer them. You can use it either inside or outside like the name implies.
I tow mine with the little 4 cylinder car you see in my signature. It tows great either behind the car or my E150.

RE: Do I have a major roof problem?

...I found that it looked dry and had dark spots, kind of like mold, on it. I am sure this is sun damage. My question is, is there a product out there that can be put on the roof that will rejuvenate it somewhat...
Dark spots on it or worn spots? I'm assuming that you have a white EPDM (rubber) roof. The white can wear off and reveal black underneath.

RE: Things to do - Gatlinburg/Smokies

...wouldn't they need a Tennessee License and not a North Carolina one? Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge aren't in NC. If you just need a NC one then I am set.
Either one will work inside the GSMNP.
From this page;
http://www.nps.gov/grsm/planyourvisit/fishing.htm
"License Requirements
You must possess a valid fishing license or permit from either Tennessee or North Carolina. Either state license is valid throughout the park and no trout stamp is required. Fishing licenses and permits are not available in the park, but may be purchased in nearby towns or online. Special permits are required for fishing in Gatlinburg and Cherokee."

RE: Please wash your hands

I figure if businesses don't want paper on the floor near the exit door of the toilet, they can either change the swing of the door or provide a nearby trash receptacle. Seems to me like the trash receptacle would be the simpler option.
But getting back to dump stations - anyone ever wash the car at one? I've washed my motorcycle at dump stations before.

RE: Great, cheap LED lights for your unit

Those LED at 120 lm and 5000 K are dimmer and colder/bluer than the original incandescent lamps which where probably 260 lm and 2800 K. Those LED are less than half the lumen (lm) or light output of your originals.
My Command LED boards are 510 lm and are warm white. One Command LED puts out almost the same amount of light as two incandescent lamps. I prefer not to function in the dark.
I won't waste my money on those cheap ones. Specifications don't lie.
To each his own. I guarantee you it's not dark in my RV.... Just tried to help others out. Not everyone here can afford YOUR Command LED boards.
Not meaning to criticize the ones you bought. I just feel it is important that people reading this know that all LEDs are not equal. The Command LED are not that expensive if you consider that one Command board has the same light output as 4.25 of the cheap eBay ones. $3.97 x 4.25 means that you are paying $16.87 for the same 510 lm. After the cheaper ones are replaced a few times they are actually more expensive than better ones to start with.
If you are happy with them that is all that matters but there are other options.
When visiting in a friends Casita last weekend he was showing me his LED replacements. When I showed him the brightness and color quality of the Command LED he was blown away. He now intends on replacing the LEDs he just bought with the Command product.

RE: Looking to soften the ride

More weight generally equals a softer ride. The suspension is designed to carry the maximum weight, anything less results in a harsh ride.

Just purchased a used motorhome thru Ebay from California...Do I have any recourse besided writing bad reviews regarding as this dealer is regularly on Ebay Motors.
Welcome to the forum Norman. I suggest that you are asking your question in the wrong place. All you are likely to get here is speculation and criticism.
I recommend you try the eBay community pages;

RE: Great, cheap LED lights for your unit

... look for the Color temperature in (K)elvin
3200K is a warm white... 5000K and its a cool white....
and warm white is toward the red side of the color spectrum and cool white is toward the blue side of the color spectrum.
For comparison hold your arm under a cool white lamp and under a warm white lamp. Cool white makes people appear pale, sickly, and ghostly whereas warm white gives you a healthy, reddish, and robust appearance.

RE: Great, cheap LED lights for your unit

I have replaced all the bulbs in every RV I have owned with LED lights to cut the heat and power drain. Until the last LED's I bought I never thought they were as bright. I got these on Ebay and man they really make a difference.
Beautiful bright light and they got here in 9 days. I liked them so much I just ordered another 24. You may need a different bulb so be careful and buy the ones with the 38 SMD in them so they are as bright.
Great LED lights on Ebay

RE: Please wash your hands

Thanks for all the laughs, I thought I might add another twist. I like to go barefoot a lot. It is amazing the comments I get.
Like; "Have you ever heard of foot and mouth disease, you're going to die". I responded "Well I have heard of hoof and mouth disease which is not present in North America and is only contracted by animals, you're going to die also!"
"Ooo, how unsanitary, you can't go in a building in your bare feet." My response, "I washed my feet this morning, when was the last time you washed your shoes? Maybe you should remove your shoes because I'll wager my feet are cleaner than your shoes."
Yes, I am sometimes barefooted while at the dump station. :E
The phobias given in this thread are only valid for a person with a weak or compromised immune system. A healthy person really doesn't need to be overly concerned if using basic sanitary precautions.
Keep the laughs coming!
