Battery charge
On a 2004 GMC 2500. Driving down the road the TV will charge the 5er battery but when the engine is shut off the 5er will not see the TV battery, which is normal. I would like to jumper a relay and be able to run off the TV battery when not plugged into shore power. Does anyone know which relay and how to jumper it? Thanks for your response.

Florida county rv parks
I have looked for a listing of count parks in Florida but have not found much. Lake Stone in Escambia County is very nice. Does anyone have a listing of the county parks as related to RV camping and what hookups?

Michigan State Parks
We want to visit Michigan this summer and looking at the state parks information it shows electrical service but nothing as sewer or water. How many of the Michigan State parks have full hookup? Do the State parks fill up during the summer month's? We normally do not travel on a schedule but like to stay in State Parks when available. Thanks for your comment.

Thanks everyone for their reply. The problem has been that I can not get the unit apart. After removing the knobs there is nothing that can be found to pull out the insides to get to rubber pieces. It may be a unit that is not suppose to be repairable. I have not cut a hole behind the shower to get unit out. After removing unit it may come apart. Thanks for your help.

Shower shut off
My shower keeps dripping unless it is turned off very tight. The shower controls are like most 5TH wheels out there, white 2 piece plastic extenders with clear knobs. Are these controls repairable with new rubber or does the complete unit need replaced? I have tried removing the covers but have not been successful. The shower is in a 05 Newmar unit.

Charging 5er batteries
Recently I had a 120 volt problem in the trailer. It was a cold night and needed extra voltage to run the heater and knew the battery would run down before morning so hooked up the 2004 GMC 2500 to the trailer. While the tv was running it charged the trailer battery but turning off, the truck batteries would not charge the trailer battery or let the heater run from the tv battery. What can be done to keep the tv battery hooked to the trailer when motor is turned off? Thanks for your help.

How many went to a cheap air mattress to test how they liked it? What was the results? I do not want to spend the big bucks for the air bladder in the RV.

Normally we do not Snowbird, living in Pensacola Fl it is not necessary. We want to do two weeks in Southeast Texas, down as far as McAllen and Laredo. Will there be any or many problems finding camping spots, we have no reservations, and are there enough tourist sights to make it a good trip? We plan to leave Dec 20. Ant suggestions about traveling without reservations to this area?

It is a way's out of your way but when I did the Natchez Trace a stop in Clarksdale MS, home of the Blues was a must for me. In Clarksdale they have a large city rv park, not pretty but all hookups for a very low rate. Have a good trip.

Thanks for your reply. I would wait 2 minutes for the door to open easily but my Jack and Coke is getting warm in that time. I opened the door first for ice but being an old man forgot what was needed out of the freezer. I will try modifying the gasket. Thanks for telling me what caused the vacumn.

Refregirator Freezer Door
We have a Dometic refregirator and when the freezer has been opened it is difficult to reopen. It feels as if a vacumn has been created. Is there a modification that will help this? I am worried that the opening handle may be broken the vacumn is so strong. Thank you for your help.

Thanks for your reply to get another brand of backup camera but the 5wh is wired through the basement for this Peak brand. I would like to not have the expense of having it rewired. I hoped some one would have a monitor left from a broken system, from a traded trailer, or a new one setting around that he was not going to install. Please give me a call and give me a chance to purchase. Thanks for your time.

Back up camera
I have an old Sams Club 7 inch back up monitor that has went bad. Does anyone have one of the monitors that they would like to sell? It is a Peak brand. I would very much like to find one of these and to prove will post my phone number. Jim 850-380-8001 Thank you.

I called Progressive Industries (919-462-8280)this morning and they suggest a couple of solutions. I will making a jumper switch to disable the computer in the control box while running from a generator. I will update a reply when the jumper is complete and working.
