dumb to trust Tom-Tom,map quest and google map

from Florida to NY have used 81,77,26 95 because DC, Balt are messes.
This year had my new TomTom and thought we were good to go. Ran into stop and gos, south of and in and north of DC, and Balt and york and north of Harrisburg all way to NY border.
Watched Pennsylvania finest tailgating cars and then stopping for tickets, the two cruisers were jumping all over 81N. construction and 55 45 mph zones and the state troopers driving at excessive rates to run up on a car, tailgate and then stop em.
eta by Tom Tom was 6:30 pm and with the delays we got home just before midnight.
will have to use 79, 77 next year and not drive through Pa at night.

cannot find Brookstone in NADA book

we have recently looked at and liked 2011 Brookstones. Cannot find Brookstone under Coachmen or ForestRiver in the NADA values listing. The dealer states the "Forest River" now owns Coachmen. We have only owned Jayco Eagles but cannot get a foot from shore with dealers in Florida for a new 5er. Brookstone looks good but I have no experiences with this line. Would appreciate any info you might have.

western NY to Fla.

have 3 choices: 79-77-95
15-83-95
81-77-95
haven't been on 79 in 8 years
15 is shortest but can be a pain with traffic
81 seems to always have construction
I would appreciate any feed back on least painful way through
Pa. and the rest of the trip.
is that 301 any good. hope to avoid Daytona on way to Lakeland
will be in 4 wheeler, store camper in Fl.

need some advice on tires.

Hello:
I have 20" rims on my F350. I tow a trailer now and am thinking of switching to a 5er.
I need some advice on tires. They are not worn out now but I have 30 000 miles and want to replace them. I don't want an incident while towing. I have looked at several different products at different stores and don't have a real preference yet. Prices are similar but I would like to hear about a tire brand that is best for towing without problem. We now have 275 65 20 Wrangler.

RE: Help choosing a location...

I would prefer to go to Texas. My wife thinks shewants to go to Florida. I have shown her who is boss by going to Florida for the past 9 years. Will be in Florida again this year if that state is not on fire or under water from hurricanes.
Ontario is a big area and you don't say what part of Ontario is the location of your starting point. Western Ontario to Texas is less driving than Eastern Ontario. Also what two months are you heading south? That makes a difference. Nov-dec isn't as cold as jan-feb. am excluding those familiar December freezes in central Florida

RE: Suggestions for central Florida

lakeland has detroit tigers with handicap access of course. lakeland center has many shows and concerts. campgrounds have cable tv of course. traffic can be a bear as is the case in most of florida. you are an hours drive from many sites worth seeing. leesburg is nice as is Zepherhills as is Davenport, Winter Haven an Polk City. you really cannot go wrong is this area
