RE: Hamilton to Orlando

We decided on the I90/I79/US-19/I77/I95 route. On the way down we left around 4:00pm and overnighted near Morgantown WV at a Wal-mart on the first night and on the second night at a Wal-mart in Yulee, Florida. The drive was great and the weather was fine.
On our return trip we did the same route, and overnighted in Beckley, WV at a Wal-mart. We then pushed through to home. The weather turned on us through PA, but I made it OK.
Quite the drive, but it was worth it!

RE: Hamilton to Orlando

Thanks everyone, I so appreciate the responses from those that are familiar. So it basically comes down to I-75 out of Detroit and 79-19-77. We will let weather dictate the route.
As for staying along the way, we have our trusty generator and we are frequent users of Wal-Marts/Flying J's anyway, CG is not necessary.
We depart Dec 22!!!!

Hamilton to Orlando

While we are definitely not snowbirds, we are traveling from the Hamilton area to Orlando for a vacation over the Christmas holidays. If this is not the best place for this thread, then mods feel free to move it.
A little background, we'll be towing with an F-150 and a 30' TT. My rig is well setup and I've towed tens of thousands of miles with it. We are also very seasoned winter campers so the weather as far as the rig goes does not complicated things.
I'd love to hear everyone's opinions on routes, and good places to overnight etc.
Thanks everyone.
