i'm switching from propane stoves and lanters to white / liquid fuel ones . more btu's and less 1# tanks to throw out .

went from a truck camper to a teardrop last year . easy to pull and at 4' x 9' just the right size for 2 .
add a 10x 10 canopy and you have side and back cover if it rains ..
no ac , no tv , no slideouts . just simple camping .
use a cooler and an old coleman white gas stove to cook.
look at the tearjerkers club for more ideas . they are very helpful .

dito on the harbor freight meter , made a cord with a lighter plug to plugs that go into the meter ( at radio shack ) . can still use it outside the trailer .

a nice idea , but what would the cost be ? i think big $$$$ for a limited use .
better idea would be to get a free standing solar panal and a deep cycle battery if power was that important to you .
i tent with limited electrical needs , nws alert radio and a recharageable coleman lantern .

sold the tc today
leaving the tc family . got a teardrop trailer last fall , and the tc sold today .
will still be a tc'er at heart , but the down sizeing to more basic camping ..........

having spent many years camping at dover , the best thing is when something broke on someones camper everyone took out their tool/spare parts box and it got fixed . the only cost in most cases was a cold beer and a handshake .
some of the best campers are at the race track
