RE: Breaks Interstate Park on VA/KY Border Great park to visit....The big problems that we have with it is that they don't take reservations. Limited number of full hook up sites and you might find a pop-up parked in one of the FHU sites. They never turn anyone away and I have seen them just park units on the street. We now just go and use one of the cabins or the lodge. Of course the 4th of July is one of the busiest times at the park. RE: 5th wheel deposit question I had to put a larger down then normal because of the options I wanted and that made it custom to the point it might be harder for the dealer to sell if I backed out.....If you don't want the custom upgrades you might want to just look for a stock unit from another dealer. RE: Snowbirding in FL Im experience you will not find a park in that price range. You need to be a hundred miles or so South of Tampa. We have wintered in all three States and will continue to head to Texas or Arizona. As we are located in Alabama it sure would be nice if we could enjoy Florida and look at the gas we could save. Think you should go once and just see how it works for you guys. Park rates were in the $800.00 plus range in South Florida. Make you reservations early as a lot of folks really like that area.
