RE: Gaps between truck sides and bottom of camper

Sounds like a great place for a length of PVC to store poles for fishing or a rainfly... you should patent that idea. :) :)

RE: Silicone bakeware

Tried it when we first went convection. Unnecessary...you can cook everything with Pyrex and metal pans. :) :)

RE: best route from fishing bridge to cody

It is a straight shot...but also downhill from the pass. Gear down and let your engine do some braking, goslow on th ecurves and you will be fine. Most of it is straight and easy. :) :)

I love this place...who needs reality TV??
Perhaps the OP ferments beer or wine in the tank...may exceed the limit if crossing borders eh? :) :)

RE: Lake Superior Circle Tour

We have done the Circle...probably agree that the concentration of cool stuff is Duluth to the border. However as mentioned ther are many great spots, just lots of miles in between. We have enjoyed a lot of neat stuff in many of the smaller towns, takes more time that way. A great trip...:)

RE: Muffler

Mufflers
You should find one here. :) Once you get the part number try NAPA if you have discount pricing there.

RE: Miffed at Monaco Parts

Do you belong to the Monacoers forum? If not you should join and if you already belong, you failed to use the existing, very extensive parts listing for ALL Monaco coaches, they have. IMO, you should be blaming yourself for failing to exhaust all avenues, before going to the coach manufacturer, who has shipping, inventory storage and other cost to cover, just so you can gripe about them having it for you. Sorry, but Monaco parts is the LAST place I go to for any part on my coach.
X2!!!! Replaced them with driving lights from AutoZone $38 for the pair. :)

RE: Onan 10000 quiet diesel oil change

Common problem...breaker bar and 3' pipe. They moved the gorilla that used to install the 7.5 oil filters over to 10k plugs. Or maybe hired his brother. :) :)

RE: tires

You guys do realize that OTR trucks run way more miles on tires than we do and have steer tires and drive tires that are not interchangeable. IF they are good tires, even in regional service with lots of turning and backing like we do it, should not be a problem...and rotation is not done. After paying for three mount/dismount rotations trying to "save" the crappy GY670's I am real happy to have real steers and different drive/tag tires. And when you have the FS400's up front and even the co-pilot and friends with the same chassis remark on the ride...hmmm. JMHO of course, as the guy says...your experience may be different. :) :)

RE: Alladin towbar question

Normal...but if you would like it tight again Blue Ox has a tune up kit. Even better if you attend most rallys they usually have techs there that do it for a reasonable price. :) :)
