RE: Tires

The advantage in using N2 is to the $eller, not the buyer.

RE: Other than outdoor showers, what don't you use (and why?)

I use my outside shower to wash my hands after dumping my tanks.

Of course, then they'll raise your rate. They'll get it back one way or another. :)
Rates are not based on comprehensive claims.

RE: DirecTV SL3 May Not Need Tilt Adjusted.

The interesting thing I found in the manual is a chart indicating Tilt is not required for an SL3. Ceck out page 38.
Manual
This is very interesting.
I had DTV install a SL3 at my home and I had them install one here in FL on my RV lot. When I go home in April I'm taking the SL3 with me, but leaving the in the ground pipe. I'm going to set the SL3 up on a lot I'm going to rent for the summer. I'll use the receiver to set the elevation and azimuth.

RE: Western Pa.

We have taken the Tom N for the last 4 years, Plan on going thru Charlotte & Tampa area at non-rush hour times. I-77 in Charlotte gets really crazy, and the same in Tampa area. Do not speed on 301 in Florida, the speed limit changes often and the police watch those areas. I-77 in West Virginia was being worked on when we came down in October. It is approximately 1,000 miles from the Burgh to Tampa and probably another 150 miles to Fort Myers. FYI today it is supposed to be in the high 70's in Tampa area and about 3 degrees higher in Fort Myers. Have fun and come on down!!
There's a NEW bypass around the WEST side of Charlotte.
North of Charlotte take exit 19 I-77 to I-485 west. Comes out south of Charlotte 2 miles north of the SC state line. I-485 is 6 lanes and very lightly traveled.

RE: '04 Itasca 37B, a beginning?

I would look for a one year newer 2005 model on the larger, trouble free, W24 Workhorse chassis.

RE: Satellite Dish

I use a surveyors tripod and a five LNB Slimline. Piece of cake.
DirecTV no longer uses the 5 LNB dish. DTV uses a 3 LNB dish. I think the dish model is SL-3. DTV has migrated to satellites 99, 101 and 103.
-Tom
It has been brought to my attention that, "DirecTV still uses the 119 domestically in several local markets and some SonicTap channels are on the bird. The 110 carries some channels in the 9000 range. The SL5 is alive and well. Just not used everywhere."

RE: trans temps

I'll answer your question.
Allison states, "With a temperature probe installed between the CONVERTER OUT AND THE COOLER the NORMAL operating temperature should read between 180°F and 220°F".
