RE: Tail Gate what do I need?

I have seen many bent full tail gates, but never a bent notched one. It is also easier to get in the back with a notched gate.

Blocks under front legs of FW

I have seen lots of FW with wooden blocks under the front legs of their trailer when parked. I don't know the purpose of these, it seems like just another thing to carry around. There must be a reason for them as a lot of people use them.

RE: Hidden comparements

There is usually a good reason for a pannel covering. I have one under the sink and one where there is electric wires. You can always remove it and glue it back in if it doesn't work.

RE: Where to Store Kayak

I carry mine on the roof of the crew cab. I only have one, but it fits great with two foam strips and three nilon draw straps. Have a couple thousand miles with it and no problems.

RE: 5th wheel bathrooms

I have had both, and like the open bath much better. The closed is to small to get dressed in, and there is less room in bedroom. We have a curtain when the kids are with us. The wife likes a lot of time in front of the vanity and that means the comode room is open to all. We have never had a steam problem in bedroom, but have in the closed bathroom.

RE: Carefree RV Parks

We stay in N Ft Myers at Upriver, it is quiet, but there is a lot to do. Not far from I 75 but right on the river. The people are friendly and the price is alright.

RE: Extra batteries

All these sound good, but what happens when you want to take you truck when you are hooked up? I would worry about bad weather with the batteries in the back of the truck and storing them when moving. I hook the extra batteries in my trailer when I leave home and take them out when I get home. Good luck
