RE: windshild wipers

www.tacbusparts.com carry a lot of parts that motor homes use. I found exact replacement wipers for my Hurricane at a reasonable price there.

RE: My Unreliable Tiffin

After reading all of these posts, the glow has gone for owning a Tiffin someday. My old Hurricane is looking better and better just "wear and tear" items so far after 8 years.

RE: Hydraulic Jack not going down

My 2004 Hurricane is in the shop now to repair line to driver side rear jack. Have had problems off and on with it and as I was lying underneath waiting for oil to drain,I noticed slight dripping from connection at control box. Since I am old and stiff I decided to let someone younger and for flexible tackle it.

RE: Plasma Versus LED Flat Screen packing and Traveling?

Been shopping lately for a large TV and have noticed Plasma prices coming down vs LCD/LED TVs. I know the Plasma's generate a lot of heat and consume more energy than LCD/LED types. Thought I read some time back that CA was trying to discourage Plasma TVs because of power use?

Has anyone that has ordered the 2012 RV Roadtrip Navigator CD received it yet? Ordered it in November and last inquiry was told it would ship mid February.

RE: External LP tanks?

Get a couple of 20 or 30 lb. tanks(easy to handle)and "Extend-A-Stay"and you are good to go. At my source it is cheaper rate when filling several tanks vs just one tankat a time.

RE: Trip Planning NC to Locations Out West

Doesn't seem to be much of a vacation to me. I will go with the split into two trips group so that you can enjoy and not wear yourself out.

RE: Flo Jet waste pump - macerator

Check around for a better price, rv places and Amazon. I got a good price from Amazon with free shipping. As far as jamming, I turned on flush water and forced most of the bad stuff back into tank and shut tank valve. Most of what I had to deal with wasn't too bad.

RE: Opinions of the Triton V10

2003 chassis with 35,000 miles and no problems so far. Made a trip to SC over Christmas without the "toad" and I had forgotten how the V-10 could zip along. Could pass the trucks going uphill and for a change 8 mpg. No problem pulling the toad, a little slower and less mpg's but I would purchase another if I needed to.

RE: Accident ends trip to Disney World

Looks to me like more than a "drift". More like "road rage" from the other vehicle.

RE: Campgrounds

Pecan Park is a good overnighter. Noise from aircraft can be objectional to some. It is a NE/SW main runway that will cause you any problems mostly from Air Guard jets, commercials are not that bad and a of enjoyment. If the wind is not from the East, no problem. Stayed many times, easy in and out.

RE: Electric Steps Quit Working

If the steps work, you have eliminated most mechanical problems. Just some small something such as door switch gives a lot of problems and you can check that operation with a magnet.

RE: Four Winds Hurricane

We have a 2004 32R that we have put 33000 miles on it with no problems so far. One more foot in front of the toilet and the shower would be the only things I would desire. Great starter unit until you hit the lotto.
