RE: How to give a Canadian Zip Code @ US Pumps?

I called the other 2 major card companies to notify them I am travelling next week and inquire about the zip code problem for Canadian. One said I have to provide them with a temporary US address on record and use the zip code there. I guess my bill will be sent to the hotel I am staying. Hopefully they pay my bill as well. The other card company told me to use the 3 numbers in my postal code and add 00 at the end. This confirms other posters had suggested.

How to give a Canadian Zip Code @ US Pumps?

This may not be the right place to post but I hope some fellow Canadians lurking around here might came across this before. When filling up in some US gas station with credit card, at some places they would ask for a zip code for the billing address of the card. They will not accept a Canadian postal code with alternating letters and numbers. I had been refused to accept my credit card and had to scraped my pocket for cash to pay for gas. Yesterday I called AmEx but they have not heard of this before. Does anybody has ways to go around this?

Grand Canyon Suggestion

We will be visiting Las Vegas at the last week of August withouit our TT due to limited vacation time. We plan to make a day trip to Grand Canyon with a rental car. Any suggestion on routes and destination suggestions, (south or north rim?), Zion NP, new AZ/NV bridge etc? I was told we need to pack our lunches or risk starving all the way until the entrance to the park. Any truth to it?
