I got up this AM and it was raining so no trout fishing so I have spent the last hour looking at your trip and others again.
WOW,
I got some suggestions from a good man on some places to go on my trip soon to Ar,Tx,NM,Co,Ut,Idaho,Wy and Montana.I know I will never see what you have but your trips have encouraged me to get off road and see what so many will never see.

Looks like the rain is quitting,look out trout.

You have caused so many "oohs" and "yows" from all I shared your report with today.I have friends asking what travel magazine you work for. I explained they just had to look for the "Whazoo Monthly".
This was as usual an awesome report on a beautiful place that one longs to visit and experience.

Is there a lift system designed to put Kayak on TC roof
I am looking for a lift system to assist in putting my Kayak on top of my Outfitter Apex 8.
I llook at this one But concern that it will not come down enough.
Has anyone ever used this one on camper?
I already have a kayak which I use where i live and haul it on truck bed. But for those few times I want to carry on camper I am needing some help since my 70 years have caught up some with me.

What TC do you carry on your 2500 or 3500 Mega cab SRW
I am being encouraged to look at another TC. I have a 3500 Mega Cab Dodge SRW and I was wondering what others with this truck are hauling and any additions they have added to truck.

Dish vs Direct ???
I have been reading post about both here and comments on the web concerning both about service. The more I read the more confused I am. I presently have cable at the house and I have been considering switching to satellite so I can have at home and take with me on the road. I have talked with the Dish rv customer service,got number from one of the post on this site, and they were very helpful and told me about the Tailgater which seems the way to go.
Overall,which is the best and is satellite the headache I have read about?

Anyone carrying a TC on a 3500 Mega cab SRW?
I know I was asking this concerning a Lance 830 but not many replies. So,I thought I would ask if anyone was carrying any type of camper on a Mega Cab 3500 SRW and any thing that I could learn either positive or negative.

RE: What's on your TC to do list or to go list in 2012?
Hope to get to New York,Pennsylvania, back to Colorado,and a few others to do some trout fishing and continue to spread the word about our trout lures. I hope that this next year will be calm weather wise and not to many trips going to disasters. I just want to fish and have a great time with my bride as we celebrate our 50th and with grandkids who I have them in their on waders now.
Whatever,I know it will be a good year for us and many more.

Mountains of East Tennessee in march for fun and trout
Rainesville,Alabama for six weeks after tornado
Joplin,Mo for two weeks after tornado
Colorado for a couple of weeks for trout
Minot,ND for floods
Bastrop,Texas twice to help after fires
Arkansas for trout on little Red
Back to East Tennessee with granddaughters for fun and some trout
Drove a total of 39,000 miles, mostly helping after disasters.
I love being retired,but so little time to get to all of those trout. almost 3000 for the year.

RE: Reached a milestone today!
I had around 100 nights in the camper this year due to the disasters we have had plus some great fishing trips in Colorado,Arkansas and Tennessee. It has been great and the camper was awesome.

Got friends looking at 830 and we are looking for pros and cons. Also we are trying to find one at either a dealer or wherever that is close to Middle Tennessee to view.

Lance 830 with tent option,need to see,Mid Tennessee
I have someone who would like to see a Lance 830. I have checked with nearest dealer and they have none and it is unit he would not get for inventory. Have checked Craigslist and nearest is Colorado. This gentleman and wife would like to see before making a decision.

When is going to happen?
I am on my way to Minot,ND to help some folks who were flooded and water stayed in homes for three to four weeks.
I am told that I will only be able to volunteer until about first week of October due to snow might be there.
